Off Topic And Now for Something Completely Different

Thanks for the post , I wasn't aware of the exact site of this , I thought it was actually planned for Priory Road

 

( Disclaimer: I know nothing about the ins and outs or merits of this project etc)

This is the plan they have on the website. Priory Road is part of it by the looks of it but the houses and lodges are closer to Coronation Road.

The Priory Road bit would be opposite the Police HQ wouldn't it?

 

Yes the 2 fields opposite the Police HQ on Priory road, these 2 fields are part of Priory Meadows LWS and were once of SSSI quality but are currently unmanaged.
H4H currently have the lease of these 2 fields, as part of the lease agreement H4H can only carry out "wildlife" work and anywork to be done in partneship with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, part of this work according to the lease agreement is to carry out a annual hay cut in autumn, this as not being done by H4H.
Also under the lease terms they have to prevent travellers from dumping there horses on there, as of last week there where still 2 horses on there.

These may appear little things to some put if they can't do the little things how are they going to manage with a £20 Million build ?

Mrs red has been in a very funny mood today, on our way to cottingham we passed a field of sheep. Around the edge of the field was a dry ditch, the sheep one by one were jumping into the ditch and out the other side. She said that scene is two things she thinks men are like. They all think the grass is greener on the other side and you all follow like ****ing sheep. Honestly couldn’t stop laughing, **** me luv you’re a poet and didn’t know it. Then later we’re in B and M, I was playing about with this soap dish she was buying, it had a suction pad to stick it to tiles. She said “ stop messing with it, you’ll over suck it.” I replied “ never been accused of over sucking before “ we both fell about laughing. Unfortunately one day a year where she’s not moaning at me and funny isn’t enough, a good day though. Got me thinking about some on here, not the over sucking as I’ve no idea what goes on behind closed doors but some definitely think the grass is greener and follow like ****ing sheep. Just a thought!!!!
