I’d take 25m all day long for Gnoto. Well overrated and not a team player. Wouldn’t really want to get rid until the end of the season though.
Good point... don't think we heard the details of it, but when we bought him the selling club were gloating about the sell on clause! I think the fans on here are harsh on Gnonto. I think he's a really useful player at this level. His control and movement are really good and he has good vision and game awareness. He does drift in and out of games and his final ball/shot has been lacking at times this year. He's only 21.
I guess he’s a victim of his own hype in a way. Good player at this level and would get into pretty much any side in this division however he’s not produced the Summerville sort of numbers therefore shouldn’t be surprised to be a bench option because James and Solomon have been better this season.
25 million minus 3.5 million which was the reported fee =21.5 million.. Minus 30 % sell on of profit is still 15 million.
Don't disagree... i think solomon is a level above the others talent-wise, if fully fit. I think James and Gnonto are different types of player... and horses for courses. James needs space to run off the shoulder and less useful against sides that are parking the bus. Gnonto, more of an all-rounder and link player. They have similar goal contributions this year, james more goals gnonto more assists. I put more credence on goals than assists personally, just happen to rate Gnonto higher than most here.
