... and what could be a vital game.

Derby are typical of these mid-table teams, lost their last three but recently beat WBA and drew at Burnley. It looks like a game we can take three points from but Derby have scored 31 goals, the same as Burnley, so it could be another mad game.

I've only been to Pride Park once ... flight delayed at Nice, missed my lift at Birmingham and arrived in a taxi at half time. It was a rubbish game and nothing happened. Absolutely shyte day out. The ground is just like going to Stoke, on an industrial estate with no parking, no pubs and no character.

The Baseball Ground was much better, always a good following and a good atmosphere. We've had some great games there with SKP, Poom, etc. There always seemed to be bits of trouble, before and after the games, but I don't remember them ever getting the better of us and they kept away from Roker Park.

I don't like Derby or Paul Warne and his stupid bobble hat so I'd like us to batter them. I have a ticket but may have to work so it'll be touch and go ...

... fingers crossed, it could be the game we get back in the top two!

My son's first away game was the 4-1 win when Coleman was manager. What a night that was

Went to the Baseball ground in '96 as a young 14 year old when Asanovic scored a late pen and we lost 1-0.

Think we will smash them this time.

My nearest 'big' club and has been since for 35 years, geographically. I do like them, because I have so many good mates who support them. My eldest goes home and away, never misses.

Their new ground is awful. Completely soulless out on an industrial estate. Itnis walkable from the city though.

All my memories are of the old BBG. I lived a stones throw from it when I first moved to the area. When Sunderland were there I used to wander out to meet the lads fans, drink and make merry. After the match I had to make my way through the streets on my own. Twice it was as hairy as it comes but I lived to tell the tale.

The current club are slowly building back from admin. The owner is a local businessman. Reluctant owner as he doesnt really have the money, but was the only one who stepped up to save them. Fair play. They really need new owners if they want to push on a bit. But they arent a terrible side, and wont be a pushover on their patch by any means.

Generally speaking, amongst Derby fans, Sunderland get massive respect. Always have. There are a lot of Sunderland lads down here due to the cement works. We mingle well. Folk always want to talk about Sunderland, links with Clough etc. Canny statue of Cloughie at theit ground if you get chance.

There seems to be no rhythm or rhyme to bottom half this year, a team looks like they are going down then get a few wins to pull away a bit. Im nervous about Derby

Looking forward to it, designated driver again

Think it’ll be a tight game as most of ours are these days

Would love to nick 2 away wins in the space of a few days. Unlikely but we live in hope

    Must win I think

Far too many draws this season, especially against poor opposition

    What's the parking position like?
Is it better to park in the centre and walk out to the ground?

    Good question

We’ll probably just look to get close to the ground, usually don’t have any bother

    Cheers
I just seem to recollect that parking near the ground is somewhat problematical and given the problem it was better to park and walk out from the centre.
Time is going to be tight as setting off quite late.

Only me and my youngest son are going to this one (this will complete all the current Championship grounds for him) and he has booked somewhere in Locomotive Way, about 15 walk to the ground.
Edit. Middle son has managed to secure a ticket.

Really need the big 3 to keep the pace at the top. Plus with Plymouth at the weekend it's an excellent opportunity to get back to back wins.

Must win. No excuses. Any other result would be garbage.

You can never discount a fluke, a refereeing error or a wonder goal from 30 yards ...

... but I'm fully expecting 6 points from the next two games.
