The deal being full time and not obligation upon promotion does put me off a little. But it would also mean we have our main striker sorted for next season if we don't go up.
if its meant to be, its meant to be, but as he has turned us down 3 times.... also glad we dont have to play againts SU again this season, ( unless its in the PO final)
Have to trust the decision makers mate. One thing I am certain of is that they wouldn’t jeopardise next season on a gamble gone wrong this season. If they offer it, it’s because it’s within our means.
My humble opinion is this starts to drag on, then we will move onto other targets quickly. Feels to me like the club want players in and not be hanging around on deadline day.
If we didn't go up we wouldn't have Wilson so we'd need a recognised striker anyways But we will..probably...maybe Wasn't there reports of we offering about this for Bamba or Orban? Shows the club may be willing to stretch the budget for the right player, if not Cannon theres a chance we may spend that cash on someone of a similar level just may not be as experienced in english football
If that is true, then I'd be pulling out. We can't afford to waste that much money on a lad who won't massively improve us. Different story if we are talking about PL budgets.
I'm pretty sure the club will have an inkling whether he's coming or not. They probably know already tbf
