Can’t believe people are saying how are we going to fit everyone in, we haven’t been able to make subs in most games this season due to the drop off in quality!
I dare say Boro already know who they want as the replacement. When they lost Akpom, Latte Lath was approached almost instantly. I’d expect more of the same here
I'm not convinced by him as a fullback tbh but he did well as a LWB for Bristol Rovers. I like him as RM or AM (won't play AM for us)
Having some genuine strength in depth will be nice. Its cost us points being unable to replace knackered legs with lads of adequate quality. RLB has managed it amazingly well for me to this point to keep us in touch.
Ngl if he does the business (as soon as he scores his first really) I’ll forget that he’s even going to cost £13m
imagine he scores the winner in the playoff final. That’s all he’d need to do to be worth it. Could sit on his arse until then
As I just said to Cam on twitter… I think the club have earned the trust to spend money in a way they deem sensible. We as fans only need to care about whether a) the club is being run sustainably and b) the quality of players are right. If both those are true the ins and outs of who cost what are irrelevant.
Theres plenty more the same especially away. You could argue we'd have at least drawn/won the following with a strong bench - Blackburn Sheff Utd Preston Plymouth Watford Stoke
Bang on mate. Millwall just sticks out as that one really hurt that day. Was devastated leaving the ground
Baffles me why fans get too worked up about the fee for a player. Other than going ****ing that seems a bit steep what else can we do. If the club decides a player is worth it then it's their money! Let them crack on and as has been said this lot haven't chucked money about so far so if the £13m fee is true it'd a real sign of intent and them going to the next level!
