    Match Preview;
    Plymouth have drawn three and lost two in their last five league games...but they had an impressive win in the Cup on Saturday against Brentford. They sit bottom of the Championship, 3 points behind 23rd placed Cardiff. Their top scorer is Mustapha Bundu, with 4 goals...and in fact scoring goals has been their problem this year as they are joint bottom in the 'goals scored' list, on 24 along with Millwall and Stoke City.

    As for us, we've now won three, lost one and drawn one in our last five games...a run which has seen us move to a comfortable mid-table position. Michael Frey is our top scorer, with 5 goals, followed by Dunne with 4 then Field and Kolli with 3 each. I'd love to see Celar return and get a regular run of games so we can see what he is like and if he'll start banging in the goals, but I have my doubts. With two games going on as I type, we sit 13th in the table, so a win on Saturday could move us up to 12th and within touching distance of the top half...almost unthinkable a few months ago, so great position to be in.

    Marti Cifuentes from the official;
    “Everyone is very eager to continue that positive trend, but we know it won’t be easy,”

    “We face a tough side with a new manager who have been getting a lot of results at home compared to away, but we are eager to impress and bounce back from a disappointing weekend in the cup.

    “The conditions obviously didn’t help. Throughout the first half I was really enjoying how we were playing – but we need to understand what went wrong in the game.

    “I have never conceded six goals as a manager so we have to look at what went wrong, but Leicester are a good side who dominated the Championship last year and we competed for large periods, which is a positive.

    “When there is a change of manager (like at Plymouth) there is always an expectation, with a win against a Premier League side and getting a point against a tough Oxford team. We know that we need to prepare and we will need to be at our best to get something from the game.”

    Cifuentes confirmed that Rangers have no fresh injury concerns for the trip to Home Park.

    Lucas Andersen, Žan Celar, Steve Cook, Kader Dembele and Liam Morrison remain out.

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    Bit of a soft spot for Plymouth but we need to be clinical for the three points.

    They're better without Rooney.

    Dave I know you're on continental time and it's a 13:30 kick off French time, but it's a 12:30 kick off in UK....

    Apologies for being a tad pedantic......

    Could be a good idea for Dave to add the local KO time for all the readers in different locations. He won’t mind this feedback and it ensures Kiwi feels included.

    Is that anywhere near Watford, Bracknell or West Windsor. More importantly is the beer any good?

    We’re just living off some Castlemaine XXXX that washed up on shore a decade ago. It’s better than Carling.
