Two things to say

1) I know it’s Nixon but he evidently has a source for Tom cannon, has been good reporting on him for a couple years

2) the add ons will be a big chuck of the 13 million, so we shouldn’t worry as most of them will only come if he does the business. Likely 7/8/9 million plus add ons imo, which is a very fair price

I can get the view that many others have about Diaz and Cannon. I’m not a particular fan of either of them to be honest.

What seals it for me though is if it’s true that Diaz only wants to go to Sheffield Utd and that Cannon has turned us down previously.

Team spirit is very important and we have a good group here. I’d hate to risk that for the sake of lads who don’t want to be here.

2. Even if cannon gets recalled doesn’t mean our deal is done. Leicester could keep playing us off Sheff Utd

 

I read it as, it’s 13 million structured with a down payment and add ONS, because later he says the add ons shocked everyone

 

well yeh they certainly would if the down payment was £13m.

 

Well that sounds so absolutely ****ing stupid that I can’t possibly believe it’s true.

 

i read it same way £13m that including the add ons if we promoted time will tell

 

Fine to trust the club they’ve earned it, it’s big money if it’s true but it’s not my money so I can’t tell them how to spend it, still not convinced it is true but would definitely improve our options

 

If the £13m is true it’s at least an indication of our spending power under this regime upon promotion.
