we can agree to disagree on the ELF point. regarding Isidor, I’m sure we’ll have until end of May to trigger the permanent deal at 4m euro. So there’s no risk of it being inflated if we wait until end of season.
I also think people may end up disappointed if they think the ELF loan suddenly means we’re offering high salaries. I just don’t see it. It’s against what the club have been trying to achieve. plus if our wage budget was suddenly much higher I’m sure Dan Neil would have extended his contract.
Which was part of the undermining of Robins by the owners? Get the impression he was shafted somewhat.
I don’t think it will be Cannon if it’s true about Sheffield simply because we focus on good value and won’t get into a bidding war with a parachute club
Younger than 22? Cannon is young and can still develop. I wasn't sold on him but think he's given O'Nien a tough time in the games we've played against them recently. But I wouldn't be spending £8-10m on him though. There'll be better value out there.
I dont rate him, he is an old fashioned centre forward, he is physical, but apart from that, what else?, for that price I want more, as I said before, no idea who
I rate him to a point, physical striker who will get goals. It's not to be sniffed at. But yeah definitely for the prices being talked about I would be looking elsewhere. This cheaper unknown to us goal machine has to exist right?
Feels a lot like the Simms situation this Cannon ‘bidding war’ would take him but wouldn’t be paying £10m for him and don’t think the club will either
Apparently the club aren’t against a perm and are trying for that I wonder if they now want to use the loan spot on someone else if possible? Might also make it cheaper for us to buy him now id personally be happier with this this is for Frigan if not clear
