i assumed that, it’s just sky sports reported us and Burnley had bids rejected so more reliable than usual.
Both sky and talk sport reporting we've bid for him. Local journalists playing it down but they must've got the story from somewhere
Even if we have I suspect we will be well below their valuation of him. Realistically he is out of our price range and as others have said, we need to invest in 5 or 6 solid players who can help us get out of the mess we are in
We were linked with him in the summer but nothing came of it. He’s currently on loan at Nantes so would need to be recalled before anything happened. Probably nothing in it.
Maybe Burnley willing to let Redmond come to us because they're in for another winger (Whittaker) and someone got crossed wires and reported it as us and Burnley in for him .... Maybe not though
