Not a big fan of this kid at all. Likeable lad no doubt but his excitement feels like uninformed clickbait. Every time I watch one of his videos he says precisely what I want him to say and never seems to actually say anything that's new to me. And that's not at all ideal given I am completely out of touch with the game.
A player once rated as a wonderkid who has lost his way a bit. Now that's a Speakman signing. Versatile, obviously very talented, lightening quick. Concerned about his injury history though.
Did Fulham not say he wasn't available this month? He would be ideal, fits the type of player we have gone for in the past
Good player but I'm not sure he's what we need right now. I'd rather we sign a reliable "steady pair of hands" type to be ready to step in at LB whenever Cirks is injured / needs a rest. With his injury record, RS is anything but reliable...
IF Alese's injury is as bad as feared we may have to dip into the market to give us some cover on the left hand side, especially with Mundle being at least 3 weeks away and Watson even longer. The only concern over Sessegnon is he would use up the last loan spot so a "versatile forward" would need to be a permanent signing or we would have to juggle which 5 loan players would be in the match day squad.
I was more wanting him for his ability at RM tbh, yes he could cover LB but he's better higher up the pitch so I'd like him used to challenge Roberts rather than a back up to Cirkin
Sessegnon is a link that makes sense to me. If fit (that’s the big if) offers quality and cover in several positions in which it’s required (both full back positions, both wings…)
