Like Fisher, I thought he showed a lot of potential having read about his background when he signed. I'm even more convinced about both now.
From the U's website: "Vicente Reyes has returned to Norwich City after his loan recall option was activated by his parent Club... Reyes made 23 appearances for the U’s this season, keeping five clean-sheets, and he now returns to the Canaries with immediate effect. We thank him for his efforts whilst with Cambridge United and wish him the very best for the future."
PinkUn saying that he will be kept at the club for the moment so that the new GK coach can take a look at him
Mair has been loaned to Motherwell and starts for the today. Reyes will stay and be the third choice for the rest of the season
'Wells first choice keeper is Aston Oxborough, who has broken a finger and will be out for some time; hence their recruitment of Mair. The only other keeper is another loanee, I believe from West Ham.
Yes I saw that ex-Norwich keeper Oxborough was there. I think it also said that the West Ham loanee got recalled.
That's a good opportunity for Archie, who I believe comes from Scotland. https://www.glasgowworld.com/sport/...ansfer-to-motherwell-itching-for-move-4940462 And there's another making good progress: "Norwich City prospect Lucien Mahovo has earned a new three-year deal just six months after moving to Carrow Road. A club option to extend that by a further 12 months is also included, rewarding a fast start to Mahovo's time in Norfolk. The career left-back, who has also played in midfield for City's under-21s, was signed from Notts County for the Canaries' development squad in July last year, but has already made a significant impression on first-team head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup. He's regularly trained with the Dane's senior group, as well as making matchday squads in both the Championship and the FA Cup. The most recent of those came in Saturday's 4-0 loss to Brighton, for which he was an unused substitute." https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...ty-lucien-mahovo-signs-new-canaries-contract/
Tomkinson rumoured to be going to Ross County on loan which will see him to the end of his Norwich contract
The club have a 12 month option at least, but not sure when we'd have to make that decision by. Ross County already have 3 young CBs on loan from English clubs, and two of them have played less than 400 minutes combined so far this season. They also have a clear first choice CB who has played more minutes than anyone else in their squad this season. That leaves 6 CBs (7 with Tomkinson) competing for the second starting spot alongside him. They must not rate the players they have too highly to want Tomkinson, but it does feel a touch unnecessary to have 8 CBs on the books.
Nice goal from youngster Brandon Forbes today. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFDnhgFIXCR/?igsh=cm44aDhhd2psazl5
Norwich u21s v Leicester u21s Djedje and Bridge involved. New signing Dylan Jones starts up front. No sign of Mahovo or Myles so they must have remained with the first team. https://www.youtube.com/live/iyQTDQnu_ys?si=YD7fo7vOE-03b59D
Mundle-Smith scored the goal in a decent attacking performance with 12 shots, 9 on target. He and Jones played the whole game.
I only watched the first half, we looked to be playing well and had a couple of game efforts on goal. First goal was conceded by Ansen delaying his pass out and the man getting intercepted.
Brad Hills has made a strong start to his loan at Stockport County: https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/norwich-city-brad-hills-stockport-county-trend-against-barnsley/
