Yeah let's judge him on a 20 minute period in a FA Cup game lol. We'll just ignore the fact he was shocking in the championship last season.
I remember hearing an ex player talking about the PL and Championship and he basically said that for an average PL player they are no better at just football than a good Championship player, the big difference is the physicality and pace though which obviously makes the PL player better. Seen that with a fair few of our players this season not being able to handle the speed/physicality of PL players, and maybe seeing it here with Sulemanas speed against Championship players. They are terrified of him, saw it a lot last season too at the beginning of the season before his injury
Ex player or not that sounds like bollocks to me. There's a huge gulf in ability between the two divisions.
Yeah not arguing that, but he was saying that the main reason behind that is the speed and strength of PL players rather than just passing/crossing/tackling etc ability. Being able to do that at speed and with the power PL players can is what creates the gulf rather than them being “better” at the basics if that makes sense
