I genuinely had forgotten he was playing. Puerta, Alzate, Pedro and Giles are at the heart of everything we are doing well that half…just an opinion Syd Not his biggest fan but was full of praise for him against Leeds
Still cant ger over burns heading the rebound The ball was about 2 foot off the ground and hes 7ft tall
Nil nil to a league two side. Side note: ozzy TV advertising burgers with pineapple and beetroot in them. Dirty bastards.
He's certainly been very involved and created a couple of chances. A little untidy at times, along with most of the team but what is really promising is that it's against a physical side.
Vaughan is enthusiastic, carried the ball well a few times but more often than not he either falls over or gives it away
He carried the ball, certainly, but did he ever do anything with it? Apart from that one decent pass?
Half time assessment. Burns looks decent as does Rushworth. The two lads in central midfield are linking up well. Coyle has to be first choice right back on what I have seen so far.
Makes you wonder how stadiums like St James' Park and the Etihad, with higher stands than ours, seem to manage ok.
Don't really know what people have been watching. Vaughan has been a real bright spot and made things happen, it's been a scrap and a battle as you would expect and the pitch has been a real leveller.
He looks like the top players at step 6/7. Really confident on the ball but when it comes to consistent output with it, nah.
It feels like he's a bit over-enthusiastic. A bit of a run in the team would help with that and other aspects no doubt.
