He doesn't influence a game in any way, shape or form. He really needs to find a non contact sport if he wants to continue as a sportsman. Never want to see him start again.

Anderson doesn't bring much to the party either but the fans can at least see that he puts in the yards and effort, which is an absolute bare minimum from any player. No team can afford to carry a player, unless he can make something happen, as in Tarrabt. MADSEN, somehow has found himself playing the game at a professional level and nobody looks more surprised than he does. It's not his fault he's ****, it's not his fault for his price tag or length of contract.

I'm not inciting hatred Strolls, I'm stating a fact along with most other people on this board. His stats verify that he is a **** player, not an opinion it's a fact, therefore not vilification just pointing out the truth

Until we get rid of him and hopefully recoup some of the money we paid, we cannot move forward. I’m guessing he must be on a good salary too, which is why Marti is still playing him. His criticism is totally deserved, what has his defender (only one I think) seen, that the rest of us on this board, or in fact that goes to Loftus Road, seen?

We’ve all seen a lot of dross down the years but I’m not sure we’ve ever had a midfielder who has so little impact on the game in any way so consistently. He’s making Dozzell look like Roy Keane.

I don’t think it’s a lack of effort as he wouldn’t have got as far as he has without it and I’m sure he sees this move as an opportunity to get a bigger one but let’s call a spade a spade. It’s just being contrary to defend him at this point. Ousted from the team by a child and he gets a chance for a start to show what he’s about and we get that.

Maybe if MADSEN put in some decent performances the rest of us will praise him. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting though

I'm not even defending him really. No one could pretend that he's done well. I just think the abuse he gets is over the top and that people should try to find something else to talk about.

I’ll always cling to the first goal at Luton when we’re subsidising him playing in the Luxembourg league and probably looking great there for the next four years.

He looks like he could be good at certain things. Poetry maybe. I could see him wearing a tiny hat managing a coffee shop.

Is it though? Players like him have always got more flak than other types of players when things go badly. Celar got similar because the perception is lack of effort. People have eyes, unfortunately for him.

One of the things the club bigged him up for when he signed was his great penalty record, yet when we got a penalty he didn't step up to take it. I get why Celar took it, but didn't even see Madsen try to take the ball off him - anonymous again.

I won’t knock him for that. If they’ve agreed to alternate it would be unprofessional to demand it. It was odd at the time admittedly. Celar’s pen in the cup was assured.

So now he's to blame for someone else missing a penalty!

    Madsen:
There is a massive difference between stating an opinion about his footballing ability on here and being personal and slating him in other ways. If I met him in the street and told him that I think he is pony, that would be completely out of order. He is a well paid footballer who has (imo) been contracted to a league where he is just not good enough. He is probably a very nice man! Footballers are also people.

It's sweet that you keep defending him irrespective of the evidence against him, but that's not what I said

Been sleeping in your Madsen Supporters Club PJs again?

Madsen hasn’t been starting in the league for some time and was only playing yesterday because QPR FC decided not to take this game as seriously as Leicester did. I’m more pissed off about this decision than his non performance, which was predictable. And more worried by Ashby’s display as I think we are going to play him a lot at RB.

This is the key point. Madsen and I’m afraid Andersen are just too lightweight.
