We’ve Aleksic to consider now as well centrally.

Goal will be a massive confidence shot and he’s a big investment from club.

    Midfield is stacked.

This may sound daft but he tries to move the ball on too quickly. It’s as if he thinks he’s going to get hit, one touch passes without great accuracy. I would like to see him get his foot on the ball and have a look. He has massive potential but he seems a little nervous at present

It wouldn't surprise me if Adil is sold and Aleksic is used as a back up in that wide left position

He has the pace to play there and I love his movement around the box

Agree. He looks like he has a football brain in him, when it all comes together I think he’s gonna be a big player.

Not sure about what everyone else thinks but I think the versatile forward needs to be able to play on the right more than the left. Also think the fullback definitely needs to be able to play on the right as well

Harvey Vale can cover LB & RW so can see why the club would be looking at him. But my worry is that he would be a Styles and cover lots of positions but not be great in any of them.

No ambition after signing a player that has had fans of other clubs and neutrals taking notice! It has been said over and over we have pulled of a coup to be getting someone in at that level! What did you post wasted £20 million cause we lost to.stoke with a changed team, now they have no ambition and as for the strikers you name while saying we have no one is ****ing laughable. Isidor has been lauded again by non-Sunderland fans for his finishing and the fact he consistently puts its into the corners when shooting! Also read it being said he is the best striker oppo fans have seen but we have nowt and you want them to go out and sign anyone (you just seem to chuck striker names about you even mentioned Simms yesterday he has 2 goals ffs!)

I know it's pointless replying cause you ignore it but ffs you are this board Elon Musk on twitter!

Anyone fancy Omari Forson for the right wing. Featured for United last year & rejected a contract to move abroad but hasn’t had much of a look in. Similiar situation to Mundle last year.

Difference being would be true cover this year, we needed the bodies more desperately last season.

    Vale looks a potential developer.

Left footed right winger so would fit the bill. Only 20 and only went there in July so doubt he’d be moving on yet but you never know.

Yeah agreed. I’d like to see Aouchiche continue his run wide left. I’ve always thought it is a position he can be effective in and with a bit of time - and a run with Cirkin at lb - he could prove to be really effective there. We’re desperate for creativity imo. However it feels like he was always gonna have to do more than others with RLB (for whatever reason) and the squad remains absolutely ****ing massive. Finding minutes for aleksic and Rigg will surely include time spent out wide in the second half of this season.

I'd put my house on it he's a Lads fan, just old and losing his marbles a bit. And likely has some form of autism. I realised this a few years ago and every single post he's made since has made perfect sense if you assume that's the case.

Why does he think Whittaker is the answer to our striker problem? He scored a worldy against Prem opposition yesterday therefore he must be a top class forward.

Why did he want us to get Alex Neil back for months even when we were above Stoke in the table? Because he was the last manager to get us promoted therefore he'd do it again if we has here.

Why does he go a bit mental every time we lose? Because he's a passionate fan and his brain is incapable of processing the bigger picture.

A while back, Monty posted in incredible detail about a SAFC match back in the 60s. There's no way he could have known about it without being there. He's a Lads fan, 100% imo, he's just not "all there" anymore.

Maybe but if he's available we should be after him. Would instantly improve us.

Le Bris: "We have a target for the No 11, 9, 7 position, a versatile player, we have two injuries on the left side,"

    Could be BBD he’s describing…

The fact we are being linked with players like BBD and now Cannon having signed ELF suggests the club are really stepping it up this window. Really sensible the “loan with obligation if promoted” approach. Love it.
