Farke's primary objective this season is promotion back to the top flight, so the FA Cup acts as a potential distraction, and given the three point gap between first and fourth, fans might even view an early exit with a degree of acceptance. Even so, there's a significant gulf in league standing between the two sides. The Sulphurites are languishing in the lower reaches of League Two, and possess a squad with a valuation of around £3m. It could provide the perfect ideal opportunity to take a look at some of the promising youngsters coming through the Elland Road ranks. Leeds will be without Junior Firpo, Patrick Bamford, Ilea Gruev, Max Wober, Pascal Struijk and Joel Piroe. Both Firpo and Gruev have returned to training this week and will be eased back gradually. Piroe (muscular) and Wober (knee) have missed training this week, but only as a precaution, with Wober returning to light duties today. Pascal Struijk also returned to training today after missing the Hull match with an ankle knock. There's worse news for Patrick Bamford, with the striker expected to be side-lined for another month with a hamstring injury he picked up in the 3-3 draw at Hull last weekend. Beyond enforced changes due to injury, anticipated adjustments will see Karl Darlow take the gloves from Meslier, though it's widely accepted the Frenchman will be back between the sticks when the Wendies arrive at Elland Road on the 20th. Sam Chambers, Charlie Crew, Josuha Guilavogui, Mateo Joseph, Joe Gelhardt, James Debayo and Isaac Schmidt are all expected to heavily feature.
...................Darlow Bogle.....Debayo....Wober(if fit)...Schmidt ................Crew.......Ampadu. Chambers....Gnonto...Ramazani ...,...................Joseph
Without disrespecting Harrogate everyone who hasn't featured regular or wasn't starting at Hull will be played. This also tells us how strong we are with a 2nd team with a player for player in every position. all the players benched Saturday Darlow Ramazani Joseph Guilavogui Byram prob will be rested. Gnonto Gelhardt Schmidt Debayo 2 Youngsters Crew Chambers I see all these featuring heavily we should prob get more game time and Match fitness into Ampadu also
Put the names in a hat, pull them out in positional order and play them in that position, even Ampadu coming out first and playing in goal we should be far too good for these I’d actually be more confident of Ampadu in goal than Meslier
I'd like something like.... ---------------Darlow Bogle--Debayo-Wober-Schmidt ---------Guilovogui--Tanaka Gnonto---Gelhardt----Ramazani ----------------Joseph I'm just trying to find the motivation to set off to the game after suffering with a horrific cold the last week. It's still hanging on and I feel like ****e. I'm gonna wrap up warm, pop a couple of paracetamol and crack on with it.
Starting XI: Darlow; Byram, Struijk, Ampadu, Schmidt; Guilavogui, Rothwell; Ramazani, Gnonto, Solomon; Joseph. Subs: Meslier, Bogle, Firpo, Rodon, Wober, Gruev, Tanaka, Aaronson, James.

Weaver is the longest-serving manager in the Football League, having first been appointed in May 2009. Two years later, his father, Irving, would take over the club in 2011 and become his boss. Since his appointment nearly 16 years ago, Weaver Jr has since presided over 726 matches while guiding Harrogate from the National League North to League Two. Astonishing longevity in today's game.
BBC think Ampadu CB and Guilavogui MF. Gnonto RW, Ramazani LW and Soloman at 10. I think Ram RW, Sol LW and Willy at 10. I also wonder if Amps may be mf. What do you think?
