Good day all. I’m back. Dad has been laid to rest and we had two Special family days celebrating his long life. Leeds united got a great
Mention in the homily and one of the gifts of life was his Bielsa scarf. Only discovered later the priest was a life long Leeds fan too. back to reality now and catching up on the last week

    Evening all

Sunderland and Sheffield might have strengthened but they still haven’t caught us up player for player we’re still overall far stonger

Ahem. Meslier? I bet neither Sunderland nor Blunts would swap their keepers for him.

No one has actually played a game since they strengthened so how can they catch us?

Player for player we are better, their signings still wouldn’t get into our starting 11

I’m sure every a few team will have 1 or 2 better players than us but line our 11 and 3-4 subs up against any team in this division and we will have a better team

We’d be well entitled to be top considering the parachute payments, ant the colossal revenue from the summer sales. Pity we’re wasting 4m a year on Bamford and Meslier. A club should be always looking to strengthen, not hold onto deadwood

I don’t disagree but this season compared to last, we’ve secured Rodon who was only a loan previous, Bogle is bringing more stand out performances than Archie did. Ramazani and Solomon are better than Summerville who I don’t believe would have repeated last seasons goals and they are better team players. Tanaka is far superior to Kamara and Rothwell and Aaronson are better for the team than Rutter. Aaronson has already scored the same amount of goals that Rutter did all season

This season, we have a stronger Championship team than last season, the trade off is if we go up, we’ve lost the most promising players
