Darlow was in the newcastle squad when they won the championship in 2016 - 17 season making 34 appearances and keeping 13 clean sheets as newcastle were promoted to the premier league , SO why can't he do the same for Leeds , he has played for nottingham forest and started his career at aston villa and has premier league experience .
And he has international experience playing for Wales.
I know he had a poor game for leeds but so did the defenders that day against middlesbrough.
It was 1 game , plus the trainers see him train daily so they must see alot in him or we would have loaned or bought someone else by now.
I say give darlow a chance and drop mess.liar and sell him either now or at end of season.
As darlow stands on the precipice of playing first team football What's your say on darlow ?

The Harrogate game comes at the perfect time for Farke.

Chances are he would have started with Darlow anyway but it gives him the chance to take Meslier out of the firing line without out and out dropping him.

Problem is are we going to learn anything about Darlow from playing a lower league team? No offence to Harrogate but, even with us changing our team, he shouldn't be tested that much.

However, if he gets through the match without dropping any massive clangers i can see him starting the next league game.

I would say give him the cup game and if he doesn't screw it up keep him in for the following game.

Conversely, for all the same reasons you mention for change against Harrogate, Farke might decide to stick with Mes to help restore his confidence.

I understand what your saying but I think it's better he's dropped to get his confidence back and then we can sell him before he makes another blunder.

Meslier will make more errors I sure on that , and imagine being a defender and trusting him , I bet leeds players felt more comfortable against Harrogate knowing darlow was in goals
