Over-eating isn't just hormonal, it's related to habit, reward, feelings of being overfull and many other mentally-related issues. The injections can help break the cycle and then change the mental aspect of over eating.

Also, when dieting naturally, many hit a wall and give up, the injections work through this, get the user to their ideal weight and is better motivation to stay at it (as opposed to always fighting towards an unattainable goal).

They work, they have side effects - muscle wastage, loose skin and the ****s.

They're expensive, but then cheap compared to a lifetime of being overweight and the health issues related to it. If you put the weight back on in five years, you just cycle on in the injections again.

If you're losing weight naturally and not in a rush, then there's no need to pay for them.

Using them as prevention is always going to be cheaper than the long term outcomes of diabetes, heart issues and the physical related problems with obesity.

Whilst the majority of ppl have office based jobs, sedentary lifestyles, cheap, sugary food pushed on us by the producers, it's an inevitable result and the injections are an immediate cure, so I am for the distribution and use of them.

From my experience training 16-25 year olds, the issue is related to their illegality. Hollywood actors/celebrities/pro-sports ppl generally obtain them through legitimate doctors and so are taught how to use them properly and correctly cycle the usage - so they'll hit peak during filming and the media tour or game season, then cycle off out the public eye and allow the body to recover and hormone/testosterone levels to reset.

By the time they filter down to teenagers/twenties in a gym, they're injecting and swallowing whatever they can get their hands on and not being explained the safe(r) ways of using them, so generally abusing them or using incorrect amounts and combinations.

The argument is that if they were made legal, but available through qualified and accountable 'distributors and prescribers', then it might be safer, more open knowledge and avoid the heart problems and testosterone crashes (and the numerous health problems men have with low levels) that are prevalent now.

The downsides are that you'd effectively be legitimising something that takes a few years of your life, but then cigarettes, alcohol and fast food are also legal.

People will always use them though ( and other drugs ) so we should, imo make them legal and as safe as possible. But that's a whole different discussion.

For me, it depends how they're used (in a sporting/bodyscaping context as opposed to a medical need, of what I know nothing about). If they're used correctly for the periods that they're necessary, then tapered correctly, with the adequate rest periods between cycles, then the health issues are minimised.

The main (illegal) pro sporting usage of them is to help players come back from injury, repair and rebuild muscle quicker after a lay-off, rather than actually performance enhance. The decent, medical quality stuff available now is worlds apart from the tablets ppl were swallowing in the 70s to 90s.

Abuse of them certainly is unhealthy, but as HT2 posts, they're being used by a lot of ppl training, so maybe better to sell them legally with correct instructions. Then they're certainly less damaging than spending a weekend sat on a sofa gaming and drinking beer and eating pizza.

Ha, the muscle/speed/skill is still natural - just the way of obtaining it has been enhanced. Same as if you take creatine or protein supplements, which most ppl who train do these times.

It's a complicated debate - I'm not 'pro' PEDs, but I'm not entirely 'anti'.

    Its not natural though
You cant get that amount of lean muscle mass in 1 year naturally

    Its a 6 year job

    Protein supplements is natural
You cant just over eat protein to gain more lean muscle

99% of people who use steroids do it for the aesthetic so its not against any rules

    Its still cringe though imo

    Brad pitt fight club
His body is seen as **** in 2024
But to get that body naturally

    The work is ****ing insane

    Its bonkers

You may have converted more muscle though. Hence the smaller than expected loss.

Converted is probably the wrong way to describe it, he'll have gained muscle and lost fat, not converted fat to muscle..... Best thing to do for losing fat ( imo ) is buy a t-shirt and pair of jeans that you can't fit in them, ignore the scales and work on how they feel when you put them on, once you fit in them you might weigh exactly the same but your body composition will have changed.

I worked on belt holes, using the same belt. Bought a leather hole punch, so as the required size reduced, punched a new hole. It was pretty satisfying.

I agree, way more satisfying then chasing a number IMO as, as you said, you can be gaining muscle which can look on the scales as a gain.... Id also massively recommend taking pics to judge progress of how your body is changing
