It's looking that way. Positive - we're getting a highly rated ex Man City academy graduate who has been decent for Burnley and is likely to develop into a future England keeper. Negative - he will make mistakes getting there and we are weakening one of the Mackems rivals.
I think Trafford will be absolutely fine. Said it ages ago that I’d be happy with him. Good with the ball at his feet, good shot stopper and will improve. Experienced in tournament football with England and knows some of the squad already.
I was using a 4 year contract. Not 5. And if I wanted to go technical I could even say we need to take accounts of agents fees also.
I mean, 5 is the max allowable for PSR, so unless I know something specific to the contrary, I'll always use 5 in any calcs.
That’s fair enough. I’ve always used 4 as a multiple and then the 1 left over for agents fees and other crap. Still I think we should sell him.
Looks like Dubs is staying and there’s even mention that there would have been no transfer fee involved in any case which if true makes even more sense for him to stay. Great news for me. Not sure how long Pope is out for but keeping Dubs could very well prove the difference as to whether we get to Wembley or not or finish in the European places come end of season.
