Agree but in the grand scheme of things it would make him:
    • The third most expensive player of all time and only behind Mbappe and Neymar going to PSG (where they basically broke every financial rule to get the pair of them.)
    • The most expensive sale ever in the Prem by £45m (nearly 50% more expensive)
    • A profit of nearly 150% in 3 years for the team.
He is priceless to us and even if we could get the money we couldn't replace him for it.

If Barca sort their money woes out (unlikely) that would be the only destination. Madrid are awash with forwards.

Thing is you hear all this "he'll want to play UCL football or he's off". Erm, he did play UCL football, with us, two seasons ago. It's hardly ancient ****ing history. We're in a good spot to challenge now. So why don't we hear about how Enciso, Verbruggen, Mbuemo, Semenyo, Kulusevski, Son, Van Der Ven, Amad, Garnacho, Mainoo and countless others "must" play UCL football? It's so tiresome.

He's a fantastic player who's at a club who had faith in him, stuck by him, build around him and here he is. He seems like a really smart kid, I don't think he's remotely interested in a move. We don't need the money. And he's surrounded by UCL talent - how many from Man U or Spurs would get in this first XI? 1 or 2? Tonali, Bruno G, Botman have played UCL with and away from us. It's just boring, but it's also jealousy and who can blame 'em?

Nah, he more often than not does a "cooler than a cucumber" celebration. I think the Liverpool match was different because it was such a phenomenal goal, plus we were at home and the crowd went mental. Vs Arsenal, he was near the away end (he doesn't like confrontation, he's the opposite of Gordon) and often just does a "yep, I'm alexander the great, this is just what I do" all in a days work thing.

Don't read into it. Besides, Arsenal actually cannot afford him.

It would be more surprising if they weren't. Doubt they can stump up enough £ though.

Did I mention how incredible Howe has been as well, as without his guidance Isak wouldn’t be half the player he is today.

If we got a bid for 150m I think we would say no.

If it was 200m that may be too good to turn down.

But we need him. You can build a team around him. Hes essentially to us being top 6 each season.

Given they still cant register Olmo, i think we're safe from Barca swooping in.

A "we have arguably the best striker in the world right now situation".

We had that with Cisse at the end of the 2011-12 season with Cisse. If only we'd cashed in then....

We should not cash in on Isak btw.

Some were saying, remember he was absolutely on fire at the end of that season, scoring every time he touched the ball and getting ridiculous goals.
