I always liked Liverpool, it’s a good night out. The roads up to each ground are full of dog **** and the atmosphere at Anfield is ****e, but other than that, great place.
They've just been given a penalty in injury time, the everton player could clearly be seen pulling the shirt of the defender but got given the penalty anyway.
Everton are hopeful of appointing David Moyes as Sean Dyche’s replacement after a day of productive talks with the club’s former manager. Moyes met representatives from The Friedkin Group (TFG), Everton’s new owner, on Friday to discuss a return to the club he managed between 2002 and 2013. Negotiations are understood to have advanced well and there is confidence a deal could be concluded within the next 24 hours. The length of contract is being discussed but the expectation is that it will cover the remainder of this season and Everton’s first year at their new Bramley-Moore dock stadium in 2025-26.
Laughable. A low ambition failure returns to a deluded second rate club. Whiney scousers cement their position as also rans. We’ll be playing them next season.
Talk of Liverpool teams reminds me that when I was a student there in the late seventies we would go to the football pretty much every week, just turning up at the grounds ten minutes before and paying at the gate. Only once in 3 years did we fail to get in (Liverpool v Spurs, first game of the season when Spurs had just signed Ardiles and Villa, Liverpool won 7-0). Quality of football better at Anfield but more entertainment at Everton as they couldn't defend and it seemed like every game was a 4-4 draw* * It's possible the passage of time may put some doubt on that being 100% accurate.
Spot on Everton, look at their squad Survival is literally a miracle each year And they bring back moyes?? Theres no freeflowing magic football coming is there Its just silly Like i said I want them to ****ing relegate esp with their new stadium opening
Only ever seen Tan Kesler and oozkan on here say it as a verb like that. Guessing it's a Turkish thing that you've picked up.
City have always been my team, but I have always had a soft spot for Everton. This was because the first ever “big game” I saw was City vEverton 3 rd FA Cup 1964. Lady in blue and white throwing toffees into the crowd. I went to Goodison Park in 70s before seeing Pink Floyd at Liverpool Empire Before the match the announcer said Congratulations to Tranmere Rovers last night for winning 5-0. The first a team has scored more than the crowd attending.! And they got back into the First Division year I was born ie 1953!
