Ruben Neves from Porto to Wolves (2017) is arguably the biggest Championship transfer in recent years, but he was in and out of the team at Porto so I'd argue this deal for La Fèe is an even bigger coup. I'll stick my neck out and say this is the biggest EFL Championship signing in over a decade.
If we get Vinicius and Vale, that will be canny. There is also talk of the Blackburn right back. That 4 will do for me.
Sunderland strike stunning £20m transfer deal to make Premier League push https://talksport.com/football/2458...lingham-enzo-le-fee-premier-league-transfers/ It's everywhere
It's either a 6 month loan fee, and they pay his wages, or we pay his wages ... ... either way, we either trust the club or we don't.
That's why it's enjoyable, I trust them to know what they are doing. In last 18 months Stewart and Clarke money has pulled in 25m. Also have possible 5m or more incoming for Ekwah Not every signing will work but I know we'll be managed sensibly.

@SkySports_Keith ⚕️ Enzo Le Fèe currently undergoing his Sunderland medical. ✍ He will sign a loan-with-obligation to make the transfer permanent if #SAFC are promoted this summer.
All I want now really is that Vinicius if the rumours are true and a Right winger. That’ll be me happy with our push for promotion. If I could be greedy I’d still maybe look at a left winger and a right back.
I reckon Neves just pips it because he was a bit younger at the time and had a very big reputation and iirc he was Porto’s captain. But nonetheless it’s a toss up between the two. Incredible signing this.
