Seems a great signing, promoted from league 1 last season. Is he a replacement for Taylor or Low or Taff or Hartridge.
That was out of the blue. Not a sniff of that one. Not sure though despite his record. He's 31 and could get done for pace. Should be useful defending and attacking set pieces. Just hope we have players around him with the pace to cover
You will love him, we did. Yet another ex Argyle signing for you. No nonsense blood and snot player. Very good in the air and doesn't mess about on the deck either. Not quick though.
As I suspected I see you are after Lowe, as well as Swansea and Preston. If you get him I suspect you will be very pleased. No sign of us extending his contract (which is stupid) so I suspect he wants to move up
Tipsbladet’s Farzam Abolhosseini reports that Wycombe have now made an offer to sign Molde defender Anders Hagelskjaer In a transfer race nobody could have ever predicted, Wycombe are battling Cypriot side Pafos for Hagelskjaer’s signature. This would be a huge addition for Wycombe and one which may be needed amid doubts over star defender Joe Low. Preston North End are rivalling Swansea City for Low according to The Sun’s Alan Nixon and whilst that would be an enormous blow for Wycombe, they are showing some creative thinking by exploring the Scandinavian market.
Wycombe Wanderers are expected to sign Danish defender Anders Hagelskjær from Norwegian side Molde this transfer window. Reports in Norway have suggested that a deal between the two parties has been agreed and that the Chairboys will pay €500,000 for his services. The centre back, once his move to England has been confirmed, will replace Caleb Taylor who was recalled by West Bromwich Albion earlier this month. According to the Danish media outlet, Tipsbladet, Hagelskjær is set for a medial with Wanderers and once a ‘residence permit’ has been authorised, the sale is expected to go through. Cypriot team Pafos were interested in Hagelskjær, but pulled out of any deal due to Molde’s transfer demands. If this deal goes over the line, he will be Wycombe’s fourth signing of the January Transfer Window, following the arrivals of defender Sonny Bradley, left-winger Ryan Cole and goalkeeper Jonny Pettitt respectively. The latter two will play for the development squad.
Hagelskjaer has signed he looks bloody tall which will be handy at both ends of the pitch,i can only assume that Joe Low will be going to Swansea.
I expect Bradley and Anders to be our centre back pairing for the 2nd half of the season. I hope he has pace.
Bolton have signed another midfielder, could Morley be headed back.our way as a result? Wanderers have completed the signing of Joel Randall from League One rivals Peterborough United. Randall has put pen to paper over a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Toughsheet Community Stadium and arrives for a “substantial” fee which is likely to exceed £1million.
Charlton Athletic have rejected an offer from Wycombe Wanderers for Lloyd Jones, according to a report by Football League World.
