In fairness he had lost it really and went flying so we've seen quansah get away with those.

He's thrown himself on contact and refs usually don't give those.

    Erm, is this ref ok?

So the ball bouncing you can just kick a player in the back of the leg not win the ball and perfectly fine?

Jeez, let’s hope we get a half decent ref next game

It's not the ref alone. Tierney in the box.

Yes, we lost, we were godawful but it’s only 1-0. They’re a team we can beat comfortably at Anfield.

I’m positive for the second leg.

Again officiating is absolutely. Var was brought in to help referees and they keep getting things wrong as well. I can understand the ref not seeing the kick on jones but that’s what var is for.

Disappointing and borderline worrying performance considering it's on the back of a similarly poor performance against Man Utd.

I still think we'll win the tie, but only because I think we'll play better than we did today.

Redknapp - spurs probably deserved it with the goal as lfc didn’t create much…

other than TAA having one cleared off the line and keeper making 2 reaction saves against Nunez and a clear pen for jones and their player being sent off.

    We were awful tonight.

The amount of inability to just past information of a plauer and such slow turning was woeful.

The midfield is blown out. That's reality. Macca could barely move.

Salah couldn't move either looked so leggy

It wasn't even a spurs press there. It was absolute rubbish ponderous play on the ball, looking like no confidence from nowhere. Not knowing where to put the ball.

But seriously jones was awol there.

At least trent showed up in response to stinking anfield out.

quite a few players look like they need a rest .The main bright spark for me was Nunez and good to see Jota getting some more minutes and looking sharp when most looked half asleep

Definite penalty, but we didn't play well for an hour. Subs transformed our game - Trent put in a shift and that shot deserved a goal.
Oh well, only half time - but a bit crazy we have to wait a month for the second half.

Curtis jones was back to realising the ball painfully slowly when a quick pass was on.

Overral poor performance from us. From the first 5 minutes our passing was just not on it and we never really got into a good groove. Even in the 60 odd mins where we pretty much controlled the game nothing really happened. Was no quick movements, no runs in behind. Everyone just standing around waiting for the ball.

Hopefully with the kids and reserves getting game time on Saturday and the first teamers getting a weekend off, they’ll be refreshed for the Forest game.

only 1-0 so fully confident we’ll win the 2nd leg but hopefully players can refresh

Two games running. Bubble burst now, I'm telling you - All 3 midfielders were **** tonight, not just Jones as he was on Sunday. Jota was abysmal, truth be told, and Virgil aside, the defence was dogshit. As soon as he put Endo at CB I knew he wasn't trying to win and was saving Konate for next week. Ally was pants too.

As you say, Trent had a point to prove and wasn't to blame for the goal. Nearly gave the offside one away though. Too many games coming now in too short an amount of time for this squad.

Nonetheless, getting infuriated over commentators saying Bergvall shouldn't have been booked in the first place - not one ****er said a peep about Jota getting sent off for one bookable offence there last season.

But we didn't deserve anything tonight.

    BTW ignoring the csrd.

Who in our midfield tracked their goal scorer. He's bene let run.

Ignore even konate failing to deal with it.

    Nobody tracked a run
