It was talked about on Talkback today on BBC Ulster and my mother works in Finance for Omagh District Council and she confirmed that it happens. It happens every time there is a strike here.

I think it gives significant protection to those close to retirement and very generous accrual rates." They do then go on to grasp at straws and try and give everything a more anti government slant .. but hey ho, that's politics for you (cabluigi) ..
