Morning gents. Desperation stakes for punting today with Dunstall Park this afternoon/evening or Southern France this lunchtime/afternoon. I see Uncle has actually thought about the French option a bit. In contrast a lazy ew multiple for me on Monsieur Clement Lefebvre’s 5 rides. Allez est bon chance

16:07 Pornichet (Brittany, France) - Recoleros

Handicap for 5YO+ over 2m on the Polytrack surface.

Very open race but this Recoletos gelding has as good a chance as any. Fly in the ointment is the poor form of the jockey and, even worse, the trainer. Not much of a price and the eventual SP might well be better. Mlle. Maryline Eon (3) rides for the Adrien Fouassier stable.

3/1 is the best price early-doors, in most places on the ATR site.

The AW in Brittany totally passed me by Swanny. Loved my holidays in Brittany, wonderful place. I should imagine Pornichet is rather more picturesque than Wolvo’s Dunstall Park. Good luck with your pick, my betting excursion to Southern France was disastrous.

Didn't win, Chan, but ran a decent race to finish 4th of the 13-runners, sh, 1¾, nk, behind the winner. Don't know that part of France at all, but did use to visit the city of Béziers in the south-west of France on business many moons ago. It's about 6-miles from the Med. coast and about 47-miles south of Montpellier. It's more famous for its 5-day festival of bull-fighting every August, which attracts around a million visitors. Never had enough time to really have a good tour of the city, which I now regret very much.
