I hope we go with a strongish team, it would be good win to help confidence and momentum.

I’d play anyone we manage to sign this week, have a look at Rushworth in goal, give some game time to fringe players, and give anyone we really rely on a break, if possible. If we play our strongest team, a win would be great for confidence but a loss probably diminishes the feel good factor from the Leeds result. If we mix things up it doesn’t really matter which way it goes.

    I'd be happy with:

    -------------Rushworth----------

    Drameh ----Smith ----Macca-----Giles

    -----Simons ----------R. Coyle

    Burstow--------Omur----- Vaughan

    -----------------Bedia -----------

If Crooks is signed and sealed, be nice to see him alongside Simons.

That would be okay with me, I wonder whether he might go with Sellers-Fleming, as Bedia maybe on his way out?

Does anyone think £16 for a adult ticket a bit steep? Or is it just me?

Alzate is the closest comparison. More technical midfielder.

    I think it’s decent.

    £42 to watch Tamworth. £29 if you’re under 10

League Cup games need prices agreed by both clubs and presumably Donny thought they'd sell all theirs at a higher price, I'm pretty sure we'd have been happy with a lower price, the attendance is likely to be fairly crap.

I hadn't seen confirmation he had left so I assumed he would still be here. If not, TSF up front then I guess, unless another striker comes in before then.

I think the young players need blooding and all that, but TSF starting up front is part of a recipe for being knocked out the cup.

Should be a tenner for a City supporters and £1 for the kids.
Big game for Doncaster supporters so they would pay anything.

I think it's a good test for him to see how he does against League Two standard players. But I agree Selles won't take it lightly so it'll probably be Burstow.

Police probably unable to control the 6000 hooligans at the game and worried that they get to pissed up if it was a 3pm kick off.

I’m old enough to remember when Cup games in 3rd round cost more than a league one even if you were playing a club from same division or below.
