Acun put in £28m last year, I wouldn't expect the Birmingham owners to have to put in that much more this year.

Acun cant put anything in this year as a consequence.

It's a moot argument anyway 'cos were not going down.

Cooper we definitely sold lower, then from Chesterfield he took himself lower still, in every sense of the word but his eventual success was more leadership than ability. So begrudgingly, yes.

    He's still a **** though.

I'll give you Cairney. Mistake that from Bruce.

But we got money for Tom, and he contributed for us, so a bigger mistake from Liam Coopers mighty shytes and Cairney's boyhood club for releasing him in the first place, daft bastards. Could probably have done with him in league 1.

As was Evans imho - but we got Meyler, so that evens it up.

(See what I did there? Evans/evens? Almost poetry.)

We didn't sell him. Their academy could offer him a contract due to being a cat A. We couldn't stand in his way and a tribunal set the fee.

And we didn't sell him lower. He went to a higher level academy.

What that transfer did do is piss off the Allams into upgrading our academy, which was probably their lasting success with this club.

Not sure on the first point, but I guess the EFL wouldn't allow the transfer if it was outside the permitted number of games.

It said an undisclosed fee, so they got something for him, but whether there is a sell on clause I don't know, but I would have thought so.

Exactly this, he now has a career going forward, up to him now to make the most of it.

Hughes , He's 20 FFS.... CB's don't come into their own until they mid 20's... for the club to sell him inside this contract would be mental. Maguire only improved alongside Dawson..? . et al

Would they say no to a 10m+ offer given our financial position?

I don't think that's accurate at all. Like I said he played there loads last season and no one ever said he wasn't playing well then.

Matt Crooks, as long as it goes through, looks a really astute signing, just the sort of player we need.

If we sign Boly or porteus (or however you spell it)...who is out CB pairing (when Hughes is fit).

I assume they are coming to improve the starting 11.

Not sure Gelhadt is one to score 15+ a season, but decent little player
