We've reached the business end of the 24-25 season... AFC....Seeds..... NFC 1: Chiefs............1. Lions 2: Bills............... 2. Eagles 3: Ravens......... 3. Buccs 4: Texans........... 4. Rams 5: Chargers........ 5. Vikings 6: Steelers.......... 6. Commanders 7: Broncos........... 7. Packers Fixtures AFC Chargers @ Texans Steelers @ Ravens Broncos @ Bills Fixtures NFC Packers @ Eagles Comms @ Buccs Vikings @ Rams Early days, but I'm fancying a Chiefs vs Vikings SB
Been watching all season and apart from Lions I can't see anybody stopping Mahomes certainly not in the AFC .
Why would they rest players with the division title and the number one seed on the line? They have to play an extra game next week now. Looked like most of their regular starters played anyway. The Chiefs rested half the team because there was nothing to play for.
I said a few, not the entire team...Now that the playoffs are here the gloves will come off....I accept its an outside chance of getting to SB, but we said the same about the Bengals a few years ago.
I'd love to see the Lions win it , for most of the time I've paid attention on and off to the NFL they've been utterly useless and it's good to see different teams win it
The Bengals blew the season early on with stupid defeats, especially the opening game against New England. Should have beaten the Chiefs & the Ravens, but due to poor defence, poor plays & a terrible no face mask call in the second Ravens game at the end that for whatever reason wasn’t reviewed, they are out. So now, I hope the first team to come up against the Chiefs, should be the Chargers, will beat them, if not, it’s down to the Ravens or Buffalo, who’ve been the only team to beat them, I’m not counting Denver’s win. The NFC looks a lot tougher, with Detroit & Minnesota likely to be playing each other again in 2 weeks, then potentially Green Bay or Philly in the Championship Game, can Washington be discounted also? I think it’ll be Detroit to make it through, with the Bills stopping Kansas in the AFC Championship game.
We can but hope . Kansas keep getting. Let off the hook time and time again . Mahomes is. Also a freak and their defense has improved and expect Mahomes will win another 2 Superbowl s
What's the appeal of the NFL for you gentlemen? I'm not a fan so I'm curious what makes it an attraction
At the end, the two coaches shook hands in the middle of the field and the Lions coach said.....'see you in two weeks.' Personally hoping for the Ravens to come through, though winning at the Bills, then the Chiefs will be a major ask.
The Cheerleaders! Tbh that is one of the reasons I'm a big Eagles fan. Preseason game at the old Wembley way back in the day. Eagles versus Browns. My mate got us tickets in the first row on the 50 yard line. Luckily on the Eagles side (not a Browns fan to suffer in all eternity) and the Cheerleaders were right in front of us all game! Fell in love about 5 times. Philly also had Randall Cunningham playing (what an amazing player - the original scrambling QB), along with Reggie White and coached by Buddy Ryan.
Haven't seen 'em play live but i'm an Eagles fan because of my American family, followed the results ever since I went over there.
Pretty much same as football, once you understand the basic rules, it’s a competitive sport, then you choose a team, or not, enjoy the skill on show.
It’s all a matter of opinion I guess but I just don’t think Darnold has what it takes to win those big games. You mention the Bengals but they were carried by Burrow, who is on a completely different level. The Vikings have done great, they were projected to be a 6/7 win team this year so to win 14 is unbelievable. But the good teams step up another level in the play offs and I dont think they’ll be able to keep up.
