Not for a moment saying it isn’t a national scandal. It is, of course. It’s utterly appalling. The “NOTHING” before 2011-2025 is factually wrong though. If these people can’t get even these basics right, it does undermine the salient points. And therein lies the problem with social media and your Musk types. Proper, actual, genuine research is secondary to noise and feelings.
Well technically it's not wrong. As he explains, he's searching for certain phrases and those phrases don't appear in the earlier articles. Which is undoubtedly a problem with the method, but overall the point is correct. The coverage of this story wasn't on the same scale as it was for other stories.
Absolutely. It’s dreadful, the whole thing, and an example of where progressive ideologies have gone horrendously wrong. No doubt on that. I just get frustrated when we use sources such as Musk, who can’t even get the basics right. That’s also a bad reflection of the times.

Ultimately, the country is losing faith that the government is working for them and that the justice system can protect them. This is a more important point than whatever you think about Elon musk & Farage. You can hate the messengers and be pedantic about a few mistakes, but their overall message ultimately is correct. The public is losing faith in the government. just LOOK at the ****ing sentences:
I don’t think it’s being pedantic though, Os. If these new ‘speakers of truth’ are to have any credibility long term (or at all), they need to be getting things right. Regarding Farage, I may not agree with him on much, but I thought his response to Musk’s childish flip-flop was first class (even if the last sentence had a tinge of irony to it).
Actually, let me put that another way. If these new speakers of truth are to have any credibility, they need to…y’know…be telling the truth.
Musk spreading more lies that it would have taken about three seconds to validate. But he doesn't care.
Seems it's likely there'll be a related list available soon enough. This is blatant opportunistic politics from the Tories but almost certainly not good news for the government.
The left don’t understand “per capita” and it makes me laugh. If you adjust the real figures by capita, the numbers are harrowing
I don't think it does particularly well for anyone BUT at least Starmer can point to some form of positive action he took in this case, albeit in a former role. Badenoch's party failed to enact the recommendations of the previous inquiry as the government of the day, a government she was part of. Labour are planning to follow up on them. Elon Musk wants White Brits and Asian Brits fighting in the streets that's all it amounts to from his end, he just wants to destabilise the UK he isn't shining a spotlight on anything that wasn't known already. Hes taking an already known and investigated issue and spinning it with a lie that this is all just coming to light now and suggesting that Starmer and Jess Phillips personally had an involvement in encouraging instances of rape. Of course it was completely unacceptable that agencies handled the grooming cases the way they did and you cant ignore the fact there was a cultural angle to them, but this was uncovered a long time ago and the best thing you can do by these victims is get justice for them and ensure that nothing like this occurs again, but the likes of Badenoch and Musk are just taking advantage of rape victims for their own ends and it is as repulsive as it sounds. Musk is simply an enemy of Britain and should face the consequences if he ever sets foot here again, but I say that for more than this.
Absolute nonsense. Thousands of people have been begging for justice about this for ages. Hence the riots etc. This hasn’t been dealt with yet. Elon musk is giving the British people a voice, which they haven’t been allowed for a decade or more
