Must admit I didn't realise this was a Monday night game until Dave started this thread..... We arrive back in the UK Monday morning and it would have been tempting to stay in London Monday night, but it would have been a bit touch and go to get from London to Fishguard for the afternoon ferry home..... So will have to watch game in hotel in Wales after a rather liquid dinner.... it'll be hell
They are not good away We have started to win at home. Great chance to consolidate our midtable place. Has all the hallmarks of a bad evening.
I’m going with my eldest daughter her last game was the 3-2 win over Liverpool, 2-0 down on 78 minutes, what a final 12mins in plus. So we will win
Shall be there. Not got a great gut feeling about it and I was convinced we’d beat Watford. Under the lights though, can’t beat it.
Your bi-annual reminder regardless of the result that they’re horrible ****s from an absolute ****hole and this is very much their big day out. Not convinced they’ll even sell out the way they’re going and being such a ludicrous KO time.
In the olden days, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, evening kick offs were all 7:30. Which would be a huge improvement for people with a bit of distance to travel in getting home. But your actual match day punter is the lowest priority now it seems. And of course the idea of having professional football matches played on any other days than Saturday and Wednesday was blasphemous. Might be a decent turnout tonight, put my ticket up for resale and it went in a couple of hours.
Saw somewhere they’d sold 700, not sure how many tickets they get but seems **** for an easy journey. I am looking forward to getting wet and cold again tonight, but if it’s like the Watford game it’ll be worth it
7:30 or even 7:45 would be a massive help with trains back. Going to be just after midnight back to Brighton if the trains behave and I jump on the one I’m not meant to be on for the last bit. Trains back to lovely Hove finish slightly too early.
There was a short period in the sixties when our home games were on Friday nights. Queens Park Rangers Results Fixtures 1964/1965
