Apparently we're very keen on signing Omar Marmoush in the summer, as our replacement for Wilson. As with Dibling, both players clubs are receptive to selling, but only in the summer.

We need a first choice right wing, backup/younger RCB, first choice GK and a backup striker. I’d go so far as to say the right wing starter should just be able to cover for CF as I’d like Osula to get a chance; he looks raw AF but he’s rapid, hard working.

Thiaw would be the perfect profile at RCB, Kolo Muani arguably a great choice for RW as a player who could go central, then we need to go for Kelleher or (more likely) Ramsdale/Trafford. But I’m not a paid scout, so I’d hope they can do better than me.

 

Difference between want and need. At the moment we don’t need. We might in two games time but, at the moment, we don’t need.

You’ve mentioned the scouting team and, for me, it makes no sense to go for second option rather than first choice if we don’t need first choice now but could get first choice in a few months. You trust the scouting team to put in order who we look to buy.

I don’t buy or like these rumours, he’s absolutely top of his game right now so would be at the height of his cost, so if this is what we’re doing - like with Guehi - then it’s a real bollock of a policy. He probably wouldn’t come to play second fiddle either. Like i said if we can bring in someone more flexible it would make more sense to me. Murphy is a decent sub, and would be happy in it, so spending £50m+ on Marmoush seems very far fetched

Jonathan David is free now for a summer transfer and would be a great option, even if he’s more central.

Marmoush & Ekitike seem to have a good strike partnership judging by those highlights.

Nickson probably still wants Hugo Ekitike after he tried so hard to get him before Isak...

 

Ekitike is starting to shine so I'd expect he'll end up in the prem himself soon..unless he just doesn't fancy England still.

I do agree with your points about being a good impact sub, and being a real handful, but he's too wasteful in front of goal for me to stump £60m on him.
