TBF making multiple subs often makes little difference as today and Sheff Utd proved … … Swansea made two subs at 2-1 up and were losing five minutes later.
It can do, but it can also have positive impacts on results as well As I have said previously it is a slight concern for me however, hard to argue about it when we get the results and are performing so we'll Hopefully when the trusted players are back fit and if we sign some quality in January then we will use the bench more
I thought he wasn't at his best today. Too many silly mistakes and got caught daydreaming a few times defensively.
We have some very, very winnable home games coming up between now and the end of the season. Granted we have some tough away games, but if we can sort out our away form we stay in with a chance of the automatics.
A very good chance of going unbeaten at home for the season. It’s all about points on the board though, give me a win and defeat over 2 draws all day long.
Well that was an experience. Don’t think I’ve ever been so cold at a match! Certainly not our best performance. Thought Portsmouth deserved everything they got from the game - sod all!! Some good individual performances but Dan Neil for me was MOM. Adil had a canny game but made a few mistakes in the last 10 minutes before he was subbed. Horrible last 10 minutes and I was convinced they were getting an equaliser but thankfully it never came. Not the convincing win we hoped for but another 3 points on the board
Just watching the post much stuff now, the manager looks very tired. I am not surprised, there have been lots of games recently
I can’t abide managers like him who ‘play every ball ‘ and continually tell their players where to run … … how can they ever learn?
Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris told BBC Radio Newcastle: "The early goal was important and opened the game for us. But Portsmouth did well with their own style of play and we struggled. "It was better second half but we didn't score this second goal - 24 shots, many big chances, so the game was open until the end. "Even if we didn't score this goal, we showed our consistency, which is good for a young team."
We were dominant at times, as Frazer said earlier, it was like it was too easy, we were egging them on to us after we scored, they should've been brushed aside, but we missed good chances. Unfortunately, mainly via Mayenda.
He doesn’t half miss some good chances Stoke (H) - header inside the 6 yard box Blackburn (A) - 94th minute 1 on 1 Stoke (A) - header right in front of goal Portsmouth (H) - right footer smashed wide That’s just off the top of my head.
Be hard to pick a team for Stoke like, hopefully Samed can start, I'd go with him, Jones and Aleksic as a three.
He is silly inconsistent. He doesn't look natural at all. It's just pace and power. Then he plays a good ball today to get the goal and makes you think. Random as hell player.
