Really impressive form. Thanks for posting. Sometimes it's easy to forget the actual journey we are on.

Yes you did...lino on far side he was guessing which isn't on. Thought the officials were like the Sky commentators...... pretty average.

I was sat looking straight along the line. But first Auchiche played it in, defender cleared it, Auchiche shielded it out and got called offside, then exactly the same for Cirkin! Utterly ridiculous decisions

They did target him, but it felt to.me that he coped and sat back more, especially second half

I notices that Patto was coming for more crosses than normal which I hope is him starting to command his box a bit better.

Yep we were in the concourse looking along the 18 yard box, couldn't get over how they gave offside when it came off their player for a corner and then did it again! There's no way he could've seen the play from the other side of the pitch. He's also missed Cirkin being taken down in the penalty area

I just worry that his pace is a killer. He is so so slow and something that will stop him playing at the highest level. IMO of course.

He may not have the pace but he's a very intelligent defender, he good at knowing when to push on and when to sit imo

He may not reach the highest level, bit he will be a good mid level premiership player imo

Sadly his distribution is still worse than my local Evri driver! Utterly awful today

Yeah but your local evri driver isn't 1 of the best shot stoppers in the division.

He seemed to hurt himself when he clattered into their player just before half time, rubbing his keg and limping a bit. Hopefully, precautionary because although Cirkin is better, him on the bench gives us good good options.

Love reading this thread back. Amazing how so many views are different.

Missed the first 20 but thought, up to the last 10 mins, it was the most one sided performance I have seen for years. We should have been 4 or 5 up.

Intact I ended the game annoyed at the team for making the game so close. Love them all really.

Neil was superb today. AA was also very good until he started blowing out his arse. Everyone else very steady. 1st team, have a week off and see you at Burnley.

Completely random I know but I saw on TV yesterday that we had made the fewest substitutions in the division this season. 10 fewer than the next lowest.

Great 3 points under difficult conditions, some tired legs out there today but we always looked in control. 2 forwards are playing well together and Wilson in particular looks full of confidence. We are in a great position with a couple of weeks to rest up and possibly get some players back. Not arsed about the cup, play the fringe players and kids, these lads have just put in a great December they deserve the rest
    Thanks again RTB

Good post marra, and we’ve done it with a core of about 13 players with majority getting no rest, that’s why I would give them some slack today after the massive effort they’ve put in recently

Made hard work of that when we shouldn't have. I did say I'd take 1-0 but didn't expect a nervy time v 10 men.
On the lino on my side of the pitch, I'm guessing he had a bad arm as the ref gave 2 offsides for him.

Never really felt like pompey were gunna score tbf, and we could have had a few more. Hopefully we get what we need this month and just keep pushing for that top two spot, looking safe in the play offs at least
