I know nothing about him. Would it be genuinely be a step up or is that peoples opinion because he plays for Roma?
I would hope the club wouldn’t even entertain any offers less than £30m this window. but then I thought we sold Clarke cheap, so who knows
he was the orchestrator for RLB’s Lorient team and has been extremely highly rated. The fact Roma paid £23m for him in the summer is proof of that. But can’t see them selling for less than £20m this early into a 5 year deal
Having said all that - according to this he played in the Jobe role… left sided 8. https://twitter.com/safcsource/status/1875986943978422772?s=46
He’s on 67k week. We surely can’t get near that. And some digging looks like he’s 90% done for Betis and has turned down Bundesliga sides as he wants to go there.
Don't think this will come off at all but class that we are trying (or at least are trying going by the reports) Doesn't mean anyone will be sold tho, if Browne's injury is worse than 1st feared then we need to strengthen in CM It was interesting that Aleksic came on at LM today, not sure hes trusted in CM just yet so it leaves us really thin in CM. CM is yhe most important position on the pitch in the championship imo so adding another quality option can only be a good thing
Not sure were these figures have come from. Looks like he's on around £2M a year which is just under 40k a week
could be a loan with mandatory option if we get promoted, this mandatory option is slightly inflated to cover the wages from now till the summer. Allows the player a potential back door into the prem, working for a coach that rates him with a get out clause, fair, should we not go up as he'll no doubt be expensive for the champ and wanted elsewhere.
I see a 6 month loan. Increases his value Roma can then sell and recoup their fee or use him next year
Shows the talent we are after. We're only after 2 or 3 this window, and if any are near as good as him, it'll be a good window and give us a good chance
