Such a frustrating game. We didn't play with any control whatsoever, didn't try to control the tempo, we let them turn it into an end to end game.

 

At least Bradley is back fit. Based on that he’ll be the starting RB for next few weeks until TAA can decide what he wants to do as today he was all over the shop

 

I think the weather played a big part as an equalizer in that game.

Couple of things...
- Trent's head isn't in it; whether he's in Madrid, upset with public noise or unhappy with contacts progressing, he needs to either sort it out or spend time watching Conor Bradley.
- Konate clearly isn't match fit
- we don't like playing in cold and/or wet weather

 

Yes, Trent wasn't great, but it was obvious that Man U were targeting that side and overloading Trent and we did nothing to change it, get more cover there or protect Trent.

 

But Konate really put himself on the line, threw himself on front of everything.

Certainly not worth £300kpw. He has way too many bad games. He's great when he's great but I'd say at least 33% of the time he's average.
