He was getting on my wick all game, mispronouncing player's names and being up Portsmouth's arse the rest of the time. Think his comments after the game were that we aren't going up and they played really well and shouldn't be where they are in the table.

    Yeah close call
Dowie originally said that Isidor was half a yard offside
    - then during the replay he said it was six inches

If we’d taken our chances especially in the first half we’d have been out of sight, their heads would’ve dropped. Another win in ****e conditions.

He looked rapid at the end when he was running with the ball on the break, a lot faster than I was expecting for a CM

Turned the volume down as Dowie was doing my head in, and how many times did the camera's show the away support, we take 4 times what they had here but they kept bigging them up.Embarrassing.

Don't need to dream on, they had a chance at the end because they had nothing to lose, they didn't score. We created 3 or 4 clear chances which we missed. We controlled the game without playing our best

A game between two huge clubs and praising the 40,000 attendance and the Portsmouth support , no bias there..

Minute 1-70 thought we were decent. We were always going to relinquish control in a 442 we had a lot of good chances and should’ve scored again

after the red card we played like the game was won and it got sloppy and physical but we saw the game out

wasn’t pretty but a good win

thought Mayenda, although good and dangerous, was wasteful.

thought Dan neil was the standout again and aleksic was quality when on the pitch

cirkin looked brighter second half too.

Patto and schmid couldn’t kick a ball between them

We’re desperate for some players back for when we travel to Burnley, bench was really poor today

I wouldn’t risk any first teamers next week v Stoke.

The sky commentator and Dowie were horrendous from start to finish.

Sorry mate, silly remark , I think its tension related. We definitely should have won by more ,but 1-0 is a dangerous lead at the death.

Rigg and Sameh should be on the bench as both expected to play against Stoke

Ballard should be back as well

I’m hoping the likes of Mepham, Jobe, Neil and Isidor are given the day off against Stoke

Perfect game for the likes of Johnson, Jones and Ogunsuyi

    cheers again RTB...

well, a few said 'any type of win will do' and that's what we got, not a great performance especially after the goal i really thought we would just go for it, can't really remember them doing much although they did have a couple of 'moments' at 1-0 you cannot settle.

dan neil keeps improving, mayenda is working well but needs to lose his 'raw edge', adil is making it very hard for RLB to leave him out now and onien makes amends for last game being the only one that tried to force it.

so my MotM goes to onien, after his sh1t-show first half of his last game to come good in the second half and today taking the game to pompey and waking the lads up.

again we see fouls being ignored then given 5 minutes later so i will just say, if something is a foul then it is a foul, for instance, a shirt pull/drag back cannot be a 'no foul', then 'allowed' then lead to a penalty on another occasion...keep the calls the same.
