Frustrating watch that, thought it was going to be a great performance after that quality early goal. Take the three points and move on.

The bookies usually update shots on target at full time - might be worth checking

Great result. I didn't feel like it was a good performance from us but we were still utterly dominant and should have won by more. Isidor was really good today I thought. I don't remember the last time I saw a bad performance from Jobe, he's becoming a dominant all round midfielder. Defence was a bit shaky, but there were good attacking contributions from Cirkin, O'Nien and Hume.

We need to be looking at attacking the top 2 now, no need to look over our shoulders.

Have to give credit to RLB, doesn't matter who is unavailable he's pretty unfazed and solution based all the time. Scrappy at the end but fantastic result!

Definitely could see the boys were leggy in the end, hopefully loads of changes for Stoke in the cup then get after Burnley

A win is a win at the end of the day but ****ing hell lads.

Thought we created a load of quality chances today which is the main positive. Mixture of poor finishing, good defending and a bit of bad luck keeps that at 1-0.

Overall though I thought we were poor. I can excuse it after a tough schedule though and the first team lads should get a nice break now with the FA Cup game next week.

3 points off the top and 11 clear of 7th.

I’m just back in from a marathon hike. 8 hours of the worst mud I’ve ever seen. Only listened to last 10 mins on talksport 2. Sounded nervy but the commentators said we’d played well all game.

now it’s over who cares that it was nervy! 3 points all that matters.

Great 3 points. Table is nicely poised.

if the second had gone in, the 3rd, 4th and even 5th may have followed. Edgey at the end but glad we saw it out. Once Mayenda finds that little bit of a clinical edge he is going to be unstoppable.

Good time for a mini break with the cup coming up. Get some minutes into some fringe players and some bodies back to give us some real options , and that’s before we dip into the window

I agree. Play the the fringe players against Stoke and give the majority of the starting 11 a breather

Some of our squad deserve an opportunity in that game imo. I'd love to see Aleksic get a full 90, I think Hjelde deserves a start and games for Johnson, Jones and Ogunsuyi would be fantastic.

Good result, but we aren't good for my blood pressure the last 15 mins

Could so easily have been a draw at the death against 10 men at home, dream on.

Concern that we still look so shaky against 10 in last few mins. Mentality maybe. Great 3 points

I really like Aleksic, thought he did well when he came on so hoping he will get 90 mins in CM/AM

<laugh><laugh> - he just admitted that it hit Mepham on the back

Remind me never to watch a Dowie commentary ever again
    - unfortunately all on the other channels were using the same feed <doh>

he was offside from the kick, the same lino gave Wilson off for his 2nd goal which he couldn't definitely say was off. Bishop looking back on replays was definitely off. Same fecking lino as well

Dowie isn't even the worst, he spoke highly of us throughout tbf to him and said we deserved the win

Some of his calls were shocking and mispronouncing both jobe and o9s names was annoying

    has to prioritise

we’re also in such a good position in relation to the window, well into January now on the back of 2 wins and right in the race for automatics with a forced fa cup break so to speak to carry us over into the second half of Jan before we return on the league

please double down in the window

This team is aging me. Some great play, some loose play, some scrappy and desperate defending and so many chances missed. We won, but could easy have been different

He's a talented footballer for sure. I'm not sure we'll see him fully up to speed until next season, but he's another that will fit in seamlessly when required.
