I’ve been pretty encouraged tbh. He doesn’t have huge mobility so that means his positioning needs to be perfect which, given his inexperience, it won’t always be right now. It’s not terrible though. What’s noticeable for me is that he’s generally a level above most of his teammates in comfort in possession. So many times he calls for a ball to feet in tight spaces and so often he’s ignored for a ball down the line. Played some good passes and carried pretty well too. There’s something there I think.
He’s not been awful by any stretch just looks like he has to think about everything he does if that makes sense?
Yep. If he has the right starting point he’ll be fine. He just doesn’t always know what the starting point is yet. He’s no less mobile than Corry Evans. He just needs that experience. This season will do him the world of good.
Triantis was impressive in the couple of minutes before the penalty there. Great tracking back, tackle and recycle of possession to start the first attack, then a good interception to get another attack going. Keeps it simple in possession as well. Playing well.
Random fun fact I used to play competitive fifa with Nathan moriah-welsh whilst he was in bournemouths academy. Anyway
I was only half joking with the Temu Carrick comment. There’s a style question to take into account but I’d tentatively back him to be in our first team picture as a midfielder next season if we don’t get promoted.
Also random but similar to that, I’m friends with Charles De Ketelaere’s cousin who I met playing an online game over a decade ago and we all remained mates and still play to this day!
Played with Liam Millar the same as Nathan. And gabby agbonlahors son be surprised the amount of players that play
All that spare time and I think my generation are a bit.. not exactly lazier lol but enjoy relaxing more than older generation. We aren’t out at the shops or in the garden at any given opportunity! I could happily retire and spend my days being lazy and gaming if I had the money
I watched the Hibs / Rangers game... The standard in that league is shocking... League 1 in England at best
Was a cany watch tho i thought, end to end that's what football is all about and to hit the post last couple seconds.
