Says a lot for the ex coaches training regime, doesn't it? Seems same 'dead bods' have found fresh wings under Sellles.
People dismissing the fact that Baz reported that Selles thought training standards under Walter were poor because the players were in a lot but you can do a lot of training at a sub-par standard.
How good was that first goal? The ball from Burstow and the finish from Kamara, outside of the left foot at pace. Everyone is creaming themselves over the Leeds equaliser, the opening goal from Kamara is far better in my opinion.
Totally agree, didn’t take a touch just lofted it over the goalkeeper. There are so many things that can go wrong with that goal, the pass under or over hit, the shot over or under hit. I’m with you absolutely different class and another level.
Macca for me is like Coyle and Jacob, if you want someone to defend backs to the wall and give it everything like our last 2 games, he's your man, as soon as you are the more dominant team, controlling more possession and pushing higher he like the other 2 becomes less effective
I’ve moaned about our wide men a number of times this season because they simply haven’t done enough but that first goal yesterday was brilliant combination play from both of them. The pass, the pace and the finish.
I think we need a refund from the pitch layers , it’s worse now than last year and we’ve had a very dry autumn/ winter !
I'm sure the North Stand sucked it in, as the shot from behind the goal looked like it could miss and many other a week would have...
I said as much yesterday but wondered if they hadn't done much with it after Boro as a leveller... Egg chasers first game is 21 February,...
Is Kamara’s goal celebration always running to the corner with his hands out? I wondered why he did it towards the Leeds fans for his first, but he did similar to the SW corner after his second as well. …stay tuned for more insightful analysis and probing questions.
Was Andy Dawson involved today? U Was just about to say the same thing. Selles is standing there pointing to where it needs to go. Kamara isn't often the one running through the centre so looks like a move they've worked on.
Not wanting to pour cold water on the Kamara love fest, but why on earth did jog over to the Leeds fans after the first goal? Not the first time a goal scorer has celebrated in front of the wrong fans, is it because they really don't know which are which?
That’s sort of what I was asking. I thought it was odd after the first goal, but he did the same (celebrated by going to the nearest corner from where he he scored) after his second one so I wondered if that was his schtick?
Absolutely Chazz will know if he always does it because he watched every game he ever played before joining us…
