Worst day ever. Had to clean up an actual human **** from outside my mum’s house. Some local homeless person has started using her alleyway as a toilet. Great, thanks for that, whoever the **** you are. Then I stood and froze through 90 minutes of possibly the worst football I can ever remember watching. Before driving back to London in the snow. Everything’s **** flavoured. Bollocks.

I posted earlier that another's morning wasted I am on EST. But its that little thing deep in our psyche from being a long time saints fan that next week you have this glimmer of hope, the thing that kills you, that we can turn the corner.

I’ve not seen any of his supposed “pace” this season. Unfortunately we have a number of players that we keep giving a chance to but at this level, they are utter dogshit & you can only put the blame on recruitment. Not sure who’s exactly to blame but I’d assume it’s mainly SR & a little RM ? I can’t believe it’s 100% SR but who knows?

Actually contemplating cancelling my season ticket in all honesty.

Just checked and I don't think it's possible

Be careful as it is a loan effectively, so if you stop paying you will still be liable for the full amount.

    Nicola Cortese.
    No football knowledge.
Took on a pile of crap, appointed the right people, made ruthless decisions.

    Rasmus Ankerson.
    Former player.
Took on a struggling premier league side, appointed the wrong people or they left, made rediculous decisions.

Nothing will change until he's gone!

Be interesting to see if the club do chase for it and how far.

Even if they don't you'll never be allowed the DD option again I suspect.

Can't get over how different yesterday was to West Ham. I remember saying after that game about how nice it was that we were actually competitive enough that West Ham knew they were in a game and we weren't nice to play against.

Polar opposite to yesterday where Brentford barely had to leave first gear.

Agree. I do think it was a massive blow having Downes AND Fernandes out though. Of course not saying we would have won the game, but certainly it wouldn't have been that one-sided.

I actually thought Brentford were very average in the first half. If we'd been able to play our strongest line up, I think it could have been a very different game. As it was, second half we collapsed and Brentford were excellent. Actually quite a pleasure to watch how good they were (just a shame we were the opposition). Mbuemo is a hell of a player.

And this is why I think it is the players rather than Juric. I think they still had some hope that if we had beaten West Ham and Palace, or even 4 points, there was a chance to stay up. Losing both meant that they surely realise we are definitely down. Concede early and it’s the “here we go again” mentality we saw last time we were relegated, but with no motivation to get back into the game because even a win doesn’t achieve anything in the bigger picture

Yeah they were absolutely going through the motions yesterday. Seemed that way even before they scored.

    Always good :emoticon-0148-yes:
I’ll listen to this one tomorrow

Prior to the RM sacking Adam said we needed to be careful what we wished for as sacking him might result in things looking, well, a bit like they do now

It’s only been 5 games, too early to say that sacking Martin was wrong.

The early signs are that the team is not good enough and we will get thrashed no matter who is in charge.

Martin had to go though, his pig-headed stubbornness was a real problem

Just seen the video of Adam Armstrong handing over the shirt to the person that predicted a 5-0 defeat. Absolutely shocking that they sent him out to hand over that shirt. Tinpot doesn't do it justice really. Club had really become a joke. Plus the club putting out a highlight video on YouTube after a performance like that .........

Initially I thought it was only right he show his face to give a shirt away - why should he get to hide because they are ****? But I didn't realise it was giving a shirt away for a predict the score competition... after a 5-0 loss <doh>

Says a lot that fans are predicting a 5-0 loss at home to a midtable team. That in itself should ring alarm bells for the club.

Probs better to just sack off that competition for this season. Maybe change it to the first goal scorer or something.
