Think it was @Archers Road who said this week that he should be starting every game due to his work ethic and commitment. Hard to disagree.
Armstrong is no way near a PL quality player, we knew that several seasons ago. I absolutely am sick of seeing him in the starting line up because there is just no quality there. And yet, we bought so much utter **** in attack that it's hard to disagree with Archers Road. He puts in a shift, he runs hard and seems to care, and while that does seem like the absolute bare minimum, it puts him ahead of the rest of them.
I do get that point of view but it'd be at least equally bad to go back on the commitment in my view. I felt like I'd wasted £27 or whatever it was on today but I got what I paid for ultimately. If I'd paid hospitality prices to watch that ****e and I didn't even get what was advertised I'd be pretty pissed off. There's lots of things embarrassing about the club this season but this is way down the list imo.
He’s rubbish at this level but at least he’s professional which is more than most of the squad. Why oh why Sulemana keeps getting chances is the biggest mystery. I'm so disappointed with Tall Paul, thought he looked a real handful against West Ham but for the last two games sadly he's been a non entity and as for Sulemana somebody's going to have to explain him to me? I'm don't want to be mean but he just doesn't look like a professional footballer to me, certainly he's got pace but his touch is dreadful and for most of the time he looks confused as to what he's supposed to be doing. I watched him today and for a lot of the time he just ran around like a headless chicken, almost dazed and confused not knowing which direction he should be facing? He must be great in training for match day he's League Two standard at best. When Juric came in I had optimism that we might just make a fist of things but all that has gone after todays performance - it reminded me somewhat of Grimsby town in the cup
