Burnley are getting everything they can out of games. They go 1-0 up and defend it. We've pissed at least 6 points away to Sunderland, Blackburn and now Hull. make no mistake, they are fkn **** and we should be beating them easily but, as someone said, we bottled it again. Our defending for the equaliser was absolutely amateur hour, there were 3 waiting on the edge of the box. We have a crowd of bodies in the 6 yard box but no one is really picking anyone up. If we have a defensive coach he needs sacking. Meslier may make world class saves but every keeper does that, we just need him to do the fkn basics right.
And after all this time he never will, After today Farkes choice has now been made for him, now Let's see if he has the bravery to do it.
its been the same every year… just takes Leeds fans a while to notice. Too nice, making excuses for him. Congratulating him for regulation saves. Pointing out that other people make mistakes. We’ve not replaced him, and managers pick him. He must be great in training, but I’m blaming the manager. Sam allardyce had 4 games to make a difference and dropped him because his job depended on it. Farke likely won’t want to change mid season and get someone else used to our building from the back set plays, but he’s the difference between being well clear and caught in a 4 way battle. And Farke forgot to make his 70 minute winger subs today. It’s been a hectic schedule… but they weren’t tired today?
Good game, draw a fair result imo. I don't think you guys looked a top of the table team and neither did we look a team at the bottom end, Both keepers gifted each team a goal and I think both teams could have also won it.
He’s always done that… did the same flapping one handed with what should have been a regulation catch a few days ago. Drive’s me bonkers. First page on keeper’s manual. Next to the ‘guard your near post’ section he’s never read either.
Just look at how he is with Scmitt and you know he won't drop him. He didn't actually make any saves today. The ones he caught were right at him.
To be fair to Hull, they were more dangerous than we were in the final 3rd. The finishes for the first and third goals were very good. I do believe that we helped them quite a bit, which is a huge problem, but they did what we needed to do in quite a few games, they came back and snatched a point.
For all you lot desperate for promotion can you just imagine the drubbings we’d be getting with that defending. Southampton are being destroyed week in week out. Don’t expect anyone else to feel the same but we’re in the proper division for our standard
