The Atkinson deal makes sense, he isn’t going to break the current 3 CB’s apart. Might leave us short on cover if injuries strike though.
Robins eyeing striker move https://www.skysports.com/football/news/2309513/robins-eyeing-striker-move (Hoping up tp date)
Linked to the lad Kone from Wycombe. Don’t know much about him tbh, other than 12 goals so far this season. He could be a 1 season, L1 wonder.
Bristol City should push to sign Arsenal man and Wycombe forward as soon as next week, https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/b...get-and-wycombe-forward-as-soon-as-next-week/
Started by someone on Twitter who has zero success rate on being true. But still there is always someone who will believe it. Bet you believe Roy the Alien as well.
Darren Witcoop he’s a Cardiff fan who gets nothing correct. Do you still believe in the tooth fairy as well
It still looks like our search is limited to the lower leagues and relatively unknown players and if we can find a goal scorer from those places will they stand up to the Championship? We blew most of our budget in the summer on poor players that don't look like they will make the grade, and now we when we could seriously use some of that money to boost our squad there may not be much around spend. The beat goes on I suppose but please do the right thing for the team to improve as we all expected.
Birmingham City and Bristol City keen on Swansea City mainstay Harry Darling is out of contract with Swansea City at the end of this season, with both Bristol City and Birmingham City eyeing a move for the centre-back. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/birmingham-city-bristol-city-keen-on-swansea-city-harry-darling/
Surely a CB is not high on our priority list, unless someone is leaving… and I don’t mean Atkinson. I think Dickie, McNally and Vyner are doing well, and we have Atkinson as an able deputy once he has some game time back after such a long time out. I’d prefer a LB to back up or start with Pring, Roberts isn’t good enough to be in a team pushing for the play-offs imo.
Supcon, agree with most of your comment. However, with a run of games for Roberts after his injury, I'm hoping he might return to some of the form from last season.
