Bafflingly good support considering how **** they are and the lack of effort. Today we have been SO passive. I can’t believe that first 20 minutes. Absolutely woeful

 

If we’re not going to cross it, we’d be better off with Archer up top. Trouble is, Brentford are very organised defensively.

 

What an an awful half of football

 

If we get a goal then I think we can grow into the game. It is a big IF. I know the fans are frustrated but we are a limited side and confidence is already low.

Going from Martinball to (the rumoured) Juricball was never going to happen mid season. You can see the press and the aggressiveness Juric apparently favours just aren’t there most of the time. Feels like something you need a pre season to really get into the team effectively

 

It must be so hard for them to follow a different instruction.

Ever so slightly better the last ten minutes but even that just shows the standard which was set.

Big changes needed at HT. At least hook Bree for Suga as we're offering nothing at all down that side. Dibling seems to be playing more centrally so no width whatsoever.

 

Best thing about that half was the quality of farts I dropped. HSB from last night working it's magic.

So dull, lifeless and without drive. I suspect Ivan will not be happy.

I think juric needs to bin off many of our so called first teamers, play some kids or fringe players who want to prove themselves

 

For a press to work effectively everyone needs to be doing it at the same time, knowing who they are pressing and not giving an out ball, one player not doing it and it’s easy for the opposition to beat it. Even going forward quickly (like when Dibling broke with about 5 mins to go in the half) nobody went with him, granted that should be easier to just follow the instruction but they probably were waiting for him to turn back and keep the ball like we would’ve done under Martin

 

Sulemana has done okay in patches I guess but his touch and work ethic is just so bad. I can excuse the first but not the second.

There was a moment about midway through the half where he tracked back to make a tackle and when it wasn't successful just ****ing stopped running. Embarrassing.

Aribo has been utterly pathetic in terms of effort and energy too.

 

Is it too late to order a light show for the second half?

In a way I don't want to single out people as the whole team has been horrific but Bree and Aribo have been particularly bad.

I'm giving them 10 minutes I reckon. 15 max. Never left anywhere near that early before but if they can't be arsed then why should I?

 

I was thinking about Archer today. It makes me wonder his lack of minutes and the basis he is playing Onuachu, that we want a target man and runners off them.

Obviously Paul isn’t a good enough player but think we will go for someone in that category this month.

Hope they don’t mind a big pay cut end of the season…
