Burnley on for a record breaking season defensively. Just obscene what they are doing. Stand by the fact that their attacking output is poor though, just hope it catches up to them.
You have to score to win but don’t concede and you can’t lose. Burnley fans won’t be complaining about their attacking force if they’re promoted. Defence is rock solid.
Two good results there. West Brom lose two points at the death, to a poor side ... ... Blackburn lose three points at home.
conpletely agree it’s just a shame for them that it won’t work in the premier league if they can’t score goals, Parker will be sacked by November and they’ll be back down again.
Burnley and Sheff utd both based on dour defensive game plans . Works well to get out of this league but guaranteed relegation fodder . Horrible to watch but effective i guess.
absolutely. But in an ideal world you’d find a way of playing that translates easily. I think Ipswich could have been that side if they had recruited better and Leicester would have been if they’d kept Maresca
Meanwhile I absolutely love watching Sunderland ... ... I know people want us to bring in players with Championship qualities, I just don't see the point tbh. I suppose it depends on whether you want to enjoy watching your team or looking at the table.
It’s a catch 22 the size of the club we need to be in the prem, to keep our better players for a year or 2 more we need to be there too, that being said, state owned soulless clubs, scrapping at the bottom, var etc isn’t appealing in the slightest
