We’ll have to go some (that may be a Cornish idiom) to replace such a fine servant to the club.

He’s fallen out a favour here because we’ve changed the way we play rather than any failing of his.

Funny how we take signing/sales in the millions for granted these days. Don't think Gibson would be £2m but anything over £1m would be very reasonable business. Bit sorry to see him go.

Sad day today.....walked past my old Halifax branch that I used for 50 years and found it had morphed into an Asian Supermarket......must be about 6 now down our High Street.....went along to our electrical branch of QVS (you can buy anything electrical there)...and found out it was closing the end of January....I've never been in there and got served quickly....always a queue ?....finally ended up down the by-pass at Homebase to find its shelves half empty...because it's gone bust and will close soon......The High St is becoming a place of foreign shops.....Asian/Pakistani/Indian/Polish/ shops springing up where British shops have closed down....if you don't use the internet your really in trouble to find what you need.

That’s because they’re industrious, ambitious people unlike the boorish Brits who think the world owes them a living I expect.

Didn't take long did it. The people who run those shops that have opened are actually British so the shops are therefore British selling Asian (Pakistan and India are Asian). The reason those other shops are closing is becuase of people shopping on line so thank your neighbours who have deliveries twice a day. It has nothing to do with imigrants. For donkies years you have had MacDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Nandos, Costa Coffee, Starbucks, I could go on listing. They have taken over shops in High Streets throughout the land. They are however white even if American so I guess they aren't to blame in your World. By the way this is Argyle Winter News not Racist Rant, you need to start your own thread and you can post on it alone to your hearts content.

Why does everything end up having to have a racist element with you.....can't you see anything for its face value.

Everything doesn't have to end up with a racist slant except when you post it. If what you have said isn't or hasn't got a racist slant then your wording is crap. What else can you interpret that to be? You have form and simply can't help yourself. And it's still on the wrong thread.

The most leaky defence in the Championship.....ends up getting THREE defenders in the Championship team of the week

    Hazard, Mumba, Galloway.

And personally I think Grimshaw is a better keeper.

I suppose I’d better complete the trio. Brendon Galloway. An absolute rock.

Have PAFC acknowledged yet that Neil Dewsnip has left the club.....seems odd if they haven't.

It was strongly trailed by the ‘Erald a week ago but there’s nothing on the Argyle website.

The fact his name hasn’t been mentioned by the club in relation to either the Nance/Joe Edwards partnership or the search for new players or a new manager speaks volumes I think.

Dewsnip is still showing on the Argyle website......so a bit messy as if no one is really in charge of updating such things.

It’s vey unwise to comment on rumours otherwise it becomes a full time job. Worse, when there’s a rumour that’s true, you can’t lie to deny it but the absence of your normal denial acts as confirmation.

So there’s no confirmation because if something’s afoot, the parties haven’t yet agreed that it can be said. Rooney left by mutual agreement. If this is happening it’s obviously not agreed,

On the other hand, the obvious reassurance to interested parties on the loss of a manager would be to say and/or show that the director of football was active. That was so when Foster departed but it isn’t so now and it’s very odd.
