No it was before his time. Flabio someone or other, Eccleston and a kid called Amit who to be fair sorted it all out when Flabio decided he wasn't going anymore because 'people who pay £10 to get in think they can abuse me when I've paid £35m for this club'. He literally told fans outside Loftus Road 'I want names of all the people booing me or I'm selling the club tomorrow' ha ha. There was also a crazy Italian director of football, a proper clown of a yes man.

Acun won't be the only owner who has skeletons in his closet. I was told bad things when he first arrived and if you were in Minerva on the right night at the very beginning Rodwell was literally telling people the same things!!

I like him and trust that if we give him what he wants, excitement, some adoration and to stem the flow of cash peeing out of the club he will stick around. However because of a certain ex employee, the Botanic lot turning against him because he doesn't talk to them anymore and the fact our matches are getting less exciting with every change of manager I'm not sure we should expect this to be much more than what QPR got.

The striking comparison for me was how they announced Gulf Air as a flagship sponsor almost straight away, in the same way Acun got his mates airline on board.

I'm getting too long in the tooth for all this stuff. I just want to watch winning football, that's why I've got my name on a waiting list for a Liverpool season ticket...Yes, Im joining all the other Hull Scouse plastics, but I actually know my way to Anfield, unlike most of em.

Nothing wrong with that. I've only recently stopped going to most man city and man utd games because I was sick of the travel and bought a new house to occupy me instead. Kids aren't happy but the M62 at midnight isn't the friend you hope it would be these days!

M62 at midnight on a winter's night....Your worst nightmare come true....Went to Bolton vs City for the 2-2 over Christmas a few years ago now..Ice on the road. I drove my mates car back to Hull has he was Newton and Ridley.... . Passed an accident on the other side in which a car had been turned over and two people sadly lost their lives....Just brought it home how bad that road can get.

Operating a luxury private jet like Acun has costs around 500K USD annually which he probably shows it as a cost for AcunMedya operations, almost equals to a week loss we have made last year. This will help you to understand amount of money we were losing, 500K pounds loss per week is a lot.

First of all he has a statement: "If you make a very popular program in Turkey, you earn money accordingly. I am buying TV8, when I bought it, the money I gave was 70 million dollars, I am paying 60-70 million dollars, all my assets, all my wealth, then you are risking it all somewhere and you are taking out a loan on top. What happens if it doesn't work? These moves are super risky, I got the reward because I have no financial fears."

He bought TV channel in late-2013, but we know he had hard times until 2019 due to weakening economy of country (it also helped him because his TRY denominated loan lost value after USD interest rate goes up), in 2015 he sold 30% of TV channel to another media company Dogus Group, due to financial issues that he wasn't able to pay loan he took after he went all in with all his assets. We have other news that in 2019 he was looking for buyers for same amount he purchased but couldn't find any. Acun's fortune turned around Covid times, where people had to stay at home forcibly and TV viewers are doubled.

Beside that, we know that he is somewhat around top 100 in Turkey by taxes he paid, he was 42nd last year, but not in top 10. We have 25 Turkish billionaires, actually 10 of them can lose this status if we switch from USD to pound, and we know that only 10ish billionaires pays taxes in Turkey rest is partially based in other countries (for example biscuit king moved operations to UK, Chobani is based in USA, and construction companies usually earn money in Russia) so he sits around in middle of group who worth 1billion USD (10th place) to 30M USD (100th place) and median is kind of close to 60M USD. Last year he paid 324M TRY for taxes, equals to approximately 9M pounds, this includes all taxes such as VAT, revenue based taxes and other luxury taxes, not only corporate tax which is based on profit if there is any. If you compare with other rich people in Turkey, currently his net value is probably around 80 to 120M USD, not sure if loans he obliged to pay included, again if you convert to pounds, you will reach 60-100 figure. What you are missing that Turkey is really poor country and it doesn't generate as much as money and even existing USD denominated value of billionaires is overvalued because Turkish Lira is overvalued last year to reduce import/export gap and but it will lose its value at some point when they cannot sustain carry trade. Basically London itself has a larger economy than entire Turkey.

I am, first game in early 80s. Just go and watch a lot of sport as I like to try new experiences. Got lucky with passes at Man City and United so went there for a few seasons as the kids liked it but I got bored of it. Don't really have time to do anything other than City now so you don't need to refer to me aa a slag or anything hurtful please.

Typical of the type of fan we attract to City games these days and a big reason why we lost so many when we slipped down the football league ladder, and couldn't get tickets for away games during the first season in the PL when they all flooded back.
And probably one of the reasons why the atmosphere is so 5hite. We have too many who sit there waiting to be entertained.
Its football not The New Theatre.

I didn't disappear and come back, I've always been going to City apart from the premier league years when I stopped because it was full of nobs. I just decided to go to other games at other clubs on top of City as I liked watching football. Seen some amazing champions league matches at man City as a neutral. Was watching games all over when I was in a London for 2 years. Not sure how that makes me responsible for our terrible atmosphere but stick it on me if you like.

Think you’ll find despite my surprise and disappointment , that ‘ slagging people off in the style of some on here isn’t my bag , as for anything hurtful, by your tongue in cheek suggestion I guess it would be a waste of time .
I do get pissed off tho when I walk out the ground after a defeat and people are laughing and joking as if it was nothing , but then again there’s fans who are tribal and will never stop and there’s ‘customers’ who constantly come and go.

I couldn't support another team even if it was free to get in. I even find it difficult to watch other teams on the telly these days.

I wasn't supporting them, I was just watching football. I go to Ferriby as well and sometimes Pickering. That has to be better than watching Love Island like some City supporters will!
