Maybe they want to show the family a bit of support.

so you would clap a person from your area who committed suicide as the hearse passed down the street, even though you never met the person, just to show support to the family?

    Why in this case?

Just because he was a well known footballer?

This was at a football match though was'nt it? Are you really so dense you don't see a difference or are you just trying to prove that you are a tit?

Pure hypocricy is what it is. No one gave a **** before hand and probably gave him all kinds of **** when he was playing

Its the way of the world at the moment, glorify the perpetrators.

Theman killed himself, his family deserve sympathy etc but it was no tragedy

So because a so called star tops himself, you have basically stated that you do not give a **** about other people who do the same?

This **** happens every ****ing day, but do you give a **** about them?

    Do you ****

There was a minutes applause for Speedo at Dagenham on Saturday, I clapped, and did it to celebrate his great footballing career not how he tragically died.

Especially when people say he tragically died is if he was hit by the rare and elusive flying fried jobbie.

Nothings is tragic about it at all.

As usual most of you completely miss the point. Grammar is not the issue.

His death is sad for his family and taking the piss out of the situation is taking the piss out of his wife and children.

Every suicide is sad even if it is a person of no good moral standing, anyone can find the wrong path.

I watched my sons game today, U14's and everyone of those kids clapped and understood why.

    Bring on the witty responses.
